What is this "don't take it personally comment all about ? "
by caliber indo you think when someone takes things personally in a way they are "selfcentered" because "its all about them" .... or does it mean maybe that the person is just very caring and sensitive?.
"(a phrase people use as a disclaimer to make an excuse to say or do something rude or mean to you to prevent you from having a poor self-image or so there won't be repercussions").
when a person says not to take it personally, don't they mean it may be upset them ... just like they are requesting you not to be upset ?.

Maintaining Faith In God As An Ex-JW
by pronomono inas i fade further from the jws, i'm finding it increasingly hard to maintain faith in god.
i've been exploring many alternatives from atheism, agnostic, apathetic, pagan, and satanism (not devil worship, but the promotion of self-indulgence) to name a few.
i'm thoroughly intrigued to learn how those of you who remained christian managed to maintain your faith in god and christ, especially after enduring all the lies that we've been told about them.

I like you more if you are literratte
by usualusername inas a daily visitor of this site i am shocked by how judgemental i am.. .
if someone makes a valid point but does not spell well it colours my judgement.. .
if someone who is a clown has excellent grammar i give them leeway.. as an aside i am a gramaphobe.. .

The Current State of the Watchtower & The Cynicism of Soviet Communism
by cofty ini am reading a book by victor sebestyn called "revolution 1989 - the fall of the soviet empire".
if you lived through the astonishing collapse of communism in the late '80s i highly recommend it.. what has struck me is the description of life under communism in the six soviet satellite states of east germany, poland, czechoslovakia, hungary, romania and bulgaria.. here is a couple of paragraphs that really stood out to me as a possible parallel to the current climate in the regime of jw.org.. ---------------------------------------------------------.
once idealism or revolutionary fervour had disappeared - certainly by the soviet invasion of czechosloakia in 1968 - the system stagnated.

the 12 cognitive biases that prevent you from being rationalthe human brain is capable of 1016 processes per second, which makes it far more powerful than any computer currently in existence.
