Why do elders not disfellowship inactive people?
by kenpodragon inwhen i left the religion, i walked away and did not get df'ed or da myself.
in doing so, my wife left the religion at the same time.
in our life we have been very nonwitness in our life.

i guess the society can't take any chances in light of dateline, etc.
well, one of the paragraphs dealt with how you'd handle a disfellowshipped child who lives outside the home.

Did we have the right?

i was in the mood for the basics, so when i was asked what ice cream flavor i liked, i answered "vanilla.

I overheard some JW's in Vegas
by Mulan ini returned last sunday from las vegas, where i had been attending a convention for one of my suppliers.
it was a network marketing convention, so the people there were from all over the world.
one day i was walking back (about a mile) from the convention area at the hotel, to the elevators, when i heard a group say "well, we are all witnesses.
