I am a fader for right now. They are in fear of the apostate. The reason my wife and kids wont talk about anything scriptural with me is because the elders told them that my views are not in harmony with the ORG.( the reason they know this is because my wife tells them practically everything I do ). Ask me if I care? They don't! Thats why they have made no attempts to rescue me from the grips of Satan. Getting close to 2yrs now, and STILL no sheperding calls. Where are they? I have so much to talk about. FEAR is the correct word.

Who do they hate more--faders or DFd people?

i've concluded it was because i rejected them personally.
i quit associating with them because i realized they were hateful individuals with serious mean streaks and other personality problems.

What was the strangest or nicest experience you had at a door?
by Sheepish ini remember one lady who was so nice to us, she invited us into her foyer/porch area outside her front door where she had a huge owl that had come to hang out.
it was amazing to be so close to it, and we forgot all about the magazine offer!

The nicest thing I can remember is one hot July day back when I was a good dub, this lovely old lady invited us in for a cold glass of water. Looking back now I guess that was the best part of that morning.

My husband had a heart attack

Does the average JW feel the "end is near"?
by Bumble Bee inmy hubby recently had a discussion with his older brother.
my brother in law told him he wants to reach out to become a ms. he's going to cut down on his work schedule, go out in service more, spend more time with his son etc.
he's in his mid forties, has always been regular at meetings and fs, but never aspired to reach out before.

What I've Learned After 2,000 Posts!
by willyloman inive been watching my number of posts climb towards 2,000 in recent days.. it seemed a good time to contemplate what ive learned in the two years, seven months and five days (according to my profile) since i joined the interactive fray although i lurked here for more than a year while i was a jw elder.
during that time, i read every single post starting with the first page and caught up.
of course, its impossible to read every one now, its so big, but it's been quite an education.

i was a walgreen's and ran into a sister from the hall i am supposed to go to.

Good grief, you would have thought that we committed a huge sin, how ridiculous is it to judge someone because they don't have their name tag?

by Lilycurly insome of you might remember my situation....i have daed myself a while ago, and my father is the only jw in the family.
since i am very close to him and the family, he has read everything related to shunning, he even asked elders and even them are not sure.
so he wrote a big long letter to bethel to have an answer.
