Yes - at the beginning of the bible story - that;s why Satan was on the earth as opposed to this idea that Satan could tempt Adam and Eve and still swan in and out of heaven at will.
If this statement is true, then how do you explain the account in Job where Satan is shown to be in an assembly of heavenly creatures in Heaven?

soon a pierced nose.. a few years ago i did ruby highlights on black and my sister outright said it was too punky and the elders would more than likely take away my privileges.. this is my way of "stickin' it to the man" (ok, i got that from the sprint commercial, but it sounds good.. my husband loves it.
i started the process last night, but my hair is so dark, it's taking 2 days.. it should be interesting running into people from ye ol' hall.. .

They have started to shun my JW wife!
by jwfacts inmy poor wife has been quite stressed knowing what to do with her life.
she has never been intellectually interested enough to study whether the wts is the truth, just went because it seemed the best way of life and her family and friends are in it.
when i stopped going she did not know what to do wanting to keep both me and the congregation happy, and becamed fairly irregular at meetings and field service.

I have just the opposite problem. They welcome my wife and daughters with open arms. But they have been shunning me since My brain starting working. Over a year now, and still no visits or calls from the Hypo's to try and encourage me. Oh Well.

Hi JW, This is one of the many things I have a serious problem with. The Tower says that the bible was written only for the remnant of the 144,000 and that Jesus is only mediator for them, thereby actually robbing everyone of the free gift that Jesus gave to ALL. Black Swan, freedom is great. I now sport a well trimmed beard. Always wanted one, and could never understand the WT stand on them. They always told me that it may stumble some. If a beard stumbles someone then I guess they didn't have the right heart condition to begin with.

Help! My parents want to take my daughter to meetings!

Hi Mercedes, I am in the same boat as you are, only its my wife that takes my youngest daughter( 14 years old ) to all the meetings. Now shes talking about baptizm. I told her to look at the example of Jesus, how old was he when he got baptized? Im trying to show her how much of the Tower is based on Organization, like the Baptizm vows. I think I made some headway on this count. All good advise here, I am also trying to make special times with her. It can be dangerous, the elders are trying to turn my daughter against me on the grounds that I am an apostate now. Slowly show her how the WT has lied and show her the society's past. This I think is their achilles heal. Thats why they try so hard to cover it up. Just reason logically with her. My heart goes out to you. Just know that all of us here feel for you.
