  well, i've been lurking and reading here for months now and decided i miss this place.

  i didn't remember my login email or password so i had to try three different email accounts before i finally found my password and could log back in.

  looks like i'm limited to two topics a day so i guess i won't be boring anybody!

  we got an email from the owner of the company a couple of hours ago that said: .

  this afternoon, our priest from our church will be on premises to extend a blessing of our facilities.

  i just want to send my thoughts and well wishes to ggg.

  i was in touch with her until the time of the florida hurricane and she was in a very close path of the worst of it.

  i haven't seen her online since and sincerely hope all is well with her and her loved ones.. please join me in sending good thoughts her way and having a warm welcome ready when she returns to us.

  it has to be a sense of humor.

  honestly, i think i have laughed more this past couple of weeks since visiting here, than i have in a long time.

  it's so easy to get caught up in the bitterness and i am the first to admit i wallow in it at times; maybe leftover remnants of the doom-and-gloom mentality.

  i thought i would share an experience from the congregation i was assosiated with in utah.

  about 17 years ago i caught my 15-year-old stepson molesting my 3-year-old daughter.

  of course, the first action taken was to call the elders.

  JWs and Red Cross

  sorry to pose this question if it is here on the board somewhere.

  i have been sifting for hours and even though i've found lots of great information, i can't find what i am looking for.. motivated by the hurricane tragedies, i decided to become a red cross volunteer on a local level.

  i had my first training on saturday and came away feeling very good about my decision.

  we raised 6 children in the borg; none of which, thankfully, stuck with it.
