  Possable "New Light"?

  with all the "buzz" around the up-comming october anouncment, i have a question.

  i have thought about this for a long time, is it possable that they would tell all those married to non-witnesses to divorce their mates?

  it could be for the reason of "unevenly yoked", and/or keeping spritually clean.

  No chance. I don't believe there is even any announcement except for the tract campaign and the hint that false religion is about to be eliminated. Which signals the start of the great tribulation. We have received no other letters.

  The watchtower admit to being a false religion!

  the forthcoming tract, "the end of false religion is near", contains this statement about how false religions will behave on page 2: .

  tolerates immoral sex: in western lands, church groups ordain gay and lesbian members of the clergy and urge governments to recognize same - sex marriages.

  even churches that condemn immorality have tolerated religious leaders who have sexually abused children.. frankly, i don't know how they dare include this statement.

  The WTS line will be that they have leaders who commit this crime, it is not TOLERATED. After all, don't they df them? The fact that the reality is at times something else is something you have to have experienced to know.

  what do you think?.

  i have a hard time accepting the fact that intelligent men truly beleive the creator has a special arrangement with them and somehow they are being used in a special position because of one scripture about the faithful and discreet slaves.. they should all be locked up in a nut house for beleiving that.

  1. They have predicted for a long time now that religion would be destroyed.
  2. After the destruction of religion, Gog and his hordes would attack the Watchtower.
  
  Now the Watchtower must see the handwriting on the wall. Lawsuits are increasing. Numbers and donations are dwindling. That can only mean one thing to them. That religion's end is upon us and that the great tribulation is about to begin.

  my elderly dub aunt (who's the biggest whiner the world has ever seen) came over tonight to first of all, whine about how her neighbour shuts her kitchen cupboard doors in the most annoying way possible and her dog barks and what was she supposed to do about it?

  anyway, as soon as these monumental problems were solved, she informed me that at the bookstudy the other night, the conductor told everyone to "stay after the prayer" as he had 'something important to announce.

  " naturally everyone did this, all the while wondering if the red phone at patterson was in direct contact with jehovah himself as the study was being conducted.

  what a revelation!

  this is my first post and what a revelation this site has been to me (excuse the pun) if only this had been available when i walked away from the "truth" in 1987, it would have made life a lot more bearable for me.. i was brought up a jw and was baptized at 14 because i thought it was the right thing to do, endured a very strict upbringing combined with the dreadful routines of worship, study and door knocking.

  we were deprived of any enjoyment (tv, friends, outings, fun, etc).

  education was a bit of a disruption, having moved to where the need was greater our schooling was interrupted so many times we never made any friends.

  I got tired just reading it. Why can't people just get together and have a good time. I've seen so many of these parties scripted to the point where its almost like the meetings. With 'skits' and 'dramas' to go with it.
