Romans 3: 23 was frequently quoted "all men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Yeah, they read this scripture and somehow it just goes in one ear and out the other. If they truly believe this scripture then how could they possibly say that they will be the only survivors in the new world ?

This is a part of God that I do not understand. Jesus said that if you had the faith the size of a mustard seed you could move mountains. Well if these parents had a strong faith and truly believed that God would heal, why did'nt he (God) heal that child ? I always believed that God was a God of his word and one who keeps promises but am I wrong ?
I feel bad for the parents because they lost their child to death when it probably could have been saved, and I have to wonder now if these parents still kept their faith ? I read the headline on the story but I did not read it yet. This is traggic for the parents and for Gods sake.

Yes and it is also illegal, if you see this happening you should call the cops ! Not that I am a cop caller or anything but love to hear about JW's who go to jail just because of their selfrighteous attitudes. That should put them in their place.

i received an email from a sister-undercover -apostate saying someone had posted on her anti-jw group that there was a boe dated march 1, 2008 about local kh financial accounts and the wts.. my fading doesn't always let me log-on much and i couldn't find anything under "boe letter" with last month search tool.
has this been discussed?

All they do is use scare tactics, they lead people to believe that they can tell when the end is coming, well no one knows when the end is coming , not even Jesus knows the answer to that question. If the witnesses would quit being scared of the end and put two & two together they will learn that it will only come to twentytwo no matter how you change it.

i know as exjws, probably for the most, there was a secret freedom in watching horror films without thinking you would have a demon as a bed buddy.. i am not very fond of every horror movie, but i will watch those that have an intelligent side to it and is not gore for the sake of gore.
like "the ring" got me going when i first watched it, just like "the blair witch project" did, which is more about suspense.
anyway, i never saw any of the saw movies, so i am going to try to watch saw iii tonight, since it is on showtime.
