  would elders allow this?

  Malpractice lawsuit

  from 1963 to 1980, the watchtower society "forbade" their flock from having organ transplants, saying it was cannibalism.. it looks to me like the w.t.

  society is "practicing medicine", giving advice about medical issues without having a medical license for this.. wouldn't and shouldn't this be called "malpractice", and put the w.t.

  in a position for a malpractice lawsuit?

  Harold Camping / Jehovah Witness similarities

  i am starting a list of similarities between harold camping and jehovah witness doctrine, which, when finished, i can print out and keep near my door to use to anti-witness to j.w.

  's, and also to have copies on hand to "place" on windshields of cars owned by j.w.

  's that i see who are going door to door.

  I don't want to go !

  i haven't posted in a long, long time, so many of you don't know me.

  one of my daughters is involved with them, and will be baptized soon.. anyway, it's my anniversary, 43 years today, (may 11), and my j.w.

  daughter calls me and wishes me a "happy anniversary", then invites my wife and i out on sunday to "celebrate" it.

  can someone find it and paste the link or better yet, the article in a reply here so we can discuss it?

  when i started to read it, it sounded so much like a j.w.

  Can j.w.'s go to Christian funerals?

  i went to a catholic funeral yesterday.

  there was no wake, only a mass and the burial and military honors at the cemetery.

  although it was not a relative, my j.w.

  I saw a prime candidate for a bible study today.

  i was at breakfast with the wife this morning, and as always, the news was on the t.v.

  it is a grizzly morning, with the snow, sleet and rain and slippery conditions.. this other couple was watching the news, the cairo violence, the floods in australia, etc.

  etc.. all of a sudden the guy says..." i think the world is coming to an end".

  Bible revision question. Important?

  i have been talking lately with my neighbor about the watchtower religion, and she said she is very good at going verse to verse with them to disprove their bible.

  then she asked me if they have their own bible?

  so, i told her yes, they started making one in the 1950's.

  my daughter went to a dc this july 4th weekend, and i am curious as to where it could have been.. i'd rather not ask her.
