HELLO THERE!
by Hamboozled ini've been reading for days and wanted to finally introduce myself.
i'm swamboozled's husband and i thought it only appropriate to make my name hamboozled.
i think our names pretty much reflect how we feel in being mislead for so many years.

Legal Stuff: What's The Likely Fallout?
by metatron ineven if the watchtower survives recent legal reverses unscathed, i still find it likely that they will react in some fashion, to further protect.
the question is how?.
whatever they do, they need to distance themselves from the congregations.

Bethel Downsizing...The True Story
by Poztate ina lot has been said lately about bethel downsizing and here is what i believe the true story is.. watch where the money is and where it goes.
a lot of large company's now are doing two things to maximise profits and bolster the bottom line.. downsizing the amount of people they did gives them extra money and real estate space (yes people are a liability even when small) and the potential to flip real estate in nyc.
the second stage is outsourcing jobs...think it can't happen??

Would you like to send your love back to the xxxxx congregation?
by Bonnie_Clyde in.
almost every time we have a visiting speaker the chairman will ask us afterwards if we would like to send our "love" back to the speaker's congregation.
everyone claps loudly.. has anyone ever heard of that "love" being delivered to the congregation?

Pink slips at Bethel
by beavis indoes anyone still have any friends at bethel?
it seems that there is a massive layoff at bethel in all three american complexes.
the layoff is supposed to affect everyone between the ages of 35-50 or maybe 60. i feel sorry for persons who chose to stay there, they gave up going to college, possible job offers or making a decent amount of money, having children, the list can go on and on.

Here We Go Again: The Annual ``Behave! at Conventions" Harangue
by Room 215 innow that the gerontocrats have dispensed with their annual springtime campaign of blustering everyone away from the wine and bread, it's now time to for the yearly decalogue of decorum; an epistle to the clueless.. in the april kingdom ministry the old farts tackle their annual chore of getting their dubbies to somehow behave like normal, thoughtful human beings when let loose on the public away from their kingdom halls.. what do we find on page 5?
``reminders" to the rabble not to save seats; not to leave the premises during the noon lunch break, nor to bring booze or large coolers; to tip at least 15% to 20% when dining at restaurants.
this, i believe is a first; they now feel they have to coach jws on just how much is considered apopropriate by ``worldly" (read ``normal") human beings.

Mormons: Bedrock of a Faith Is Jolted
by AMNESIAN incompare: "1914" and "no-blood" bedrock doctrines of the wbts:

from the time he was a child in peru, the mormon church instilled in jose a. loayza the conviction that he and millions of other native americans were descended from a lost tribe of israel that reached the new world more than 2,000 years ago.. .
