Special meeting March 7

my mother told me today that its going to be held a special meeting in all congregations worldwide at march 7.. .

some new information is going to be released, and its very very secret indeed.

we are not supposed to tell anyone what we heard at this meeting to the ones who have the meeting later the same week.

Been there done that. Invite all your studies, friends and family. Make a special day out of it, after all there is something 'special' happening and it's HUGE.

Then you arrive at the meeting early for the best seat, Brother Unprepared gives the most boring delivery, you nod off. And there are no new ideas or prophecies offered. But you keep thinking it was 'special' after all it's a new outline... that can't be used again. Perhaps a tract instead?

It was special because the meeting attendance was up, and now we have lots of work to do. Preach some more please, increase your field service, why not perhaps auxilary pioneer even? After all we had a 'special' meeting.........

Stumbled Across the Forum

i stumbled across this forum today as i was looking for information online as it relates to johnny carson and the whole john denver thing that was spread around years ago.

it's no surprise that i cant find a single thing on it on the web as i always thought it was an urban legend.

just angers me that things like that spread around and so many people just accept it as truth because a brother or sister told it to them.

I was Molested by my CO grandfather

i was molested by my grandfather from the age of 3 to 7. he was also molesting his daughter (my aunt) and maybe others.

it was covered over and my entire family was actually shunned when we went to the elders when i was 18. i did not tell anyone about it until then because my grandfather had me believing our relationship was special and it was our little secret.. when confronted, he of course denied it.

my mother even spoke up of a time when he had tried to molest her when she was 8 months pregnant with one of my brothers.

I am overwhelmed with your story. As much as this hurts, you are unfortunately one of the many that have experienced these obscene matters. But your story along with the others makes us strong to take a stand against this type of corrupt justice. Soon all this WILL be brought to LIGHT !

for me, it was after watching the video, "jehovah's witnesses; a non-prophet organization," and the point on how the org puts itself in a place between jesus and mankind.

a position which does not exist scripturally.

Vacation Ideas

jon and i need a vacation.

we got married in vegas and that was the last time we got away from everything and had fun (3 1/2 years ago).

we live in orlando, so i suppose at any time we could do vacationy things, but i'm thinking i want to do something or go somewhere out-of-state or at least out-of-city.

You wake up early Saturday morning feeling kinda nice and toasty. Looking at your partner you want to stay home and make out all day. But you are a good dubbie and realize you need to please Jehovah first, and so go in service first. Thinking I will get to this later. Then you have an interesting visit with a householder (dang) and go back in the afternoon for another return visit. Thinking I will get to sexy business later. Then late in the afternoon you come home and study the watchtower with the family and have dinner later. All the while thinking, I am getting a bit tired but sure would like to get some soon. Then at bedtime you read the kids another story (unable to concentrate). Finally the time comes for you and your partner to go to bed and the phone rings. Sister distraught needs you now !! So you spend up to an hour and a half on the phone whilst your partner is lying waiting for you in bed. Finally with bloodshot eyes you both kneel in front of the bed to have God's blessing on what is about to happen. And you get to it with only the most proper positions, only fantasizing about postition 69, but have to dismiss that Satanic thought immediately. It's unclean, and doesn't belong in the marriage bed.

Sorry just had a flashback, I am much better now thanks...(wink)

I think my cat is a crack addict! :S

ok, it isn't really crack... but it might as well be!.

i have to be very careful not to leave any plastic bags anywhere around my apartment or my cat will try to eat it.

i'm always paying close attention to the plastic bags that i bring home from the store... they all go straight in to a covered trash can so that the cat can't get them.. now, for the last two days he has been puking all over the place and i can't find any plastic that he might have been eating off of... but i am finding the plastic in his puke... so i know thats what is going one.

Elsewhere, while you are at it, perhaps you might put on some gloves and examine the little pussy more closely. If it barfs it might need to be unplugged from the other side as well.
