  Revelation 8:8 Is a comet / asteroid heading here soon?

  i have read a lot and watched some you-tube videos (some by marginally lunatic fringe christians - not necessarily invalidating) searching for asteroid september 2015 or comet september 2015.. there is some biblical evidence that, if one doesn't spiritualize / make literally invalid by symbolic exercise, that at the time of the end of the age there will be a uniquely severe, single great earthquake (isaiah 29:6, zecharia 4:7, haggia 2:6, revelation 6:12, revelation 16:18) and destructive objects described as hail, mountains falling from the sky, stars falling onto earth.

  i note that ancients would not recognize the vastness of outer space and meteroids, asteroids, comets, planets being what we know them as.. there is also the exact symbol of "then the second angel blew his trumpet, and a great mountain of fire was thrown into the sea.

  one-third of the water in the sea became blood, one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed.

  Guess what I just saw on the ABC News this morning.? I huge fireball flashed across the sky of Thailand and no one has a clue what it was. No kidding !!!

  Elder's Meeting about ARC? No. Really?

  as you may or may not know (or care), i live in the uk.

  a jw spy of mine told me that an elder had metioned that attendance at the kingdom hells had seemed to have dropped off after the australian royal comission expose of paedophilia within the watchtower organisation.. the elders were said to have had this as an item or the subject of a local elder's meeting.. i was surprised they'd even heard of the arc over here but at the same time was delighted.

  delighted that meeting attendance had dropped possibly....and i say possibly...as a result of the arc.. even an older dyed in the wool jw i know is getting sick of the gb worship within the organisation and had heard of the arc.. has anyone heard similar?.

  I think I said that small things, lot's of them can build up and up into bigger outcomes.

  The NZ witnesses are under the banner of the WTBTS Headquarters, Australia, plus the Asian countries. So you never know what has gone around. Our talks from Aust, Headquarters often get screened to other congregations through Australia. I would not have been too difficult to watch the ARC in fairly close to our time....live stream.

  No. Don't know about a comet or whatever coming in September.. A comet struck millions of years ago in Wolfe Creek, in the North of Australia. We walked around the diameter, it's fairly shallow but really wide and very eerie.

  If the comet or whatever pops up in the news, I might just sit up and write a "quick prophecy" and post it on the net. (as soon as it's detected and assuming it hits anywhere else, but here)

  I might give it a try and "force" Revelations to fit in with my interpretation and then if something does happen...

  I'll start my own religion and rake in the dough.

  Riley is okay.

  i went looking for riley last friday and i found out exactly what i wanted to know.

  i know it is not policy and all that.

  i just had this strong feeling that i would find the right "someone" to tell me.. it was a receptionist (they get locked in their stations when it gets crazy) those nice thick glass booths just shut down.

  I went looking for Riley last Friday and I found out exactly what I wanted to know. I know it is not policy and all that. I just had this strong feeling that I would find the right "someone" to tell me.

  She recalled me, she must have been watching. She got her friend a triage nurse, an awesomely gay and wonderful looking guy to sneak me in for a chat.

  He was funny and serious and told it all. I don't wish to bore you, but Riley ended up in a normal sort of hospital and was all stitched up again. She had told me she loved her mum and wanted to be with her...She said she trusted her mum. She stayed for a day and a night and her mum took her home..I'm okay with that, for Riley told me she trusted her mum and loved her mum.

  There you go.

  Do US JWs Still Knock on Doors?

  this may sound like a silly question, but do jws even door-knock any more?

  the few i know only speak of "manning the cart" at some public location, and because they get defensive if i even ask an innocent question like this i thought i'd ask it on the forum.

  Yep, they still knock around in my area. I don't think they look too happy though..It's mostly the older ones I see. The elders have been knocking on my door two months before the RC then ran out of puff just as it wound up..Interesting hey?

  well he is a blessing but he is also the reason you are being shunned and were run out of the organization because you had premarital sex.

Stuff them, the ones who abandoned you...that is of course unless you decide to let them in again..That is your' choice. For now, all gentle, all kind, all the soft things that don't hurt your' soul.

  hello to you all, i`m reading this book exiting the jw cult & i think so far it is brilliant.

  i emailed a friend the other day and said "sometimes i feel rage that isn't good towards the j dub`s & what they do to others".
