Has Anyone Got Any Proof That The Society Monitors Apostate Web Sites?

I am extremely skeptical about this, yet people on this forum seem to talk about it as though it were a fact. So has anyone got any actual concrete proof? Here are the reasons why I don't think they do:

    1. If people were assigned to read this and other sites at least one of them would have become apostate by now and would have told the board about it all.

    2. Why on earth would the society monitor this site - are the apostates on this board really so important, are their ideas really that interesting?

I am sure that some Witnesses in Bethel have taken a look at this and other sites, but not under official sanction! Elders in congregations may also take a peek to see if they can spot anyone in their "flock" coming to the apostate forum (so watch out you disobedient ones!).

But you are dreaming if you think that the apostates on this site are so important that we here at Bethel spend all our time reading this nonsense!

The Watchtower Information Service article might prove that someone at Bethel has looked at his site, but it does not prove that they systematically monitor apostate sites, and it does not prove that the person who viewed the site was authorised to do so.

Has Simon got any such info from his techno site thingamy jig to prove that the wbts does indeed come and view this site also?

By the way, the Watchtower Information Service site is wrong when it claims that there is no wensite at www.wbts.org have a look and see! Maybe it was not Bethel that viewed the site after all considering who now occupy that site

The Watchtower Information Service was clearly wrong to assume that the person who visited his site was from Bethel. The site:

    www.wbts.org

    is clearly not theirs!!!

So has anyone got any REAL PROOF that the society monitors this site?

You guys are all talk, and there is nothing to back it up!!!

Well, lets see. The proof is, several people have been "outed" and the only waywas due to monitoring of this board. Nice, huh? Couple that with the fact that the society stands to lose millions if not billions of dollars stemming from lawsuits re: child molesting, blood, the UN, DF'ing, and the best place for info on that stuff is here, google, silentlambs, etc., well, you do the math. It's not that we're that important, it's that the society has screwed people and been proxy to death, rape, and destruction of families for decades, they know it and want to cover their butts, get it? Look at the df'ing of Bill Bowen, Barbara Anderson, etc. The internet is Causing a flood of members to leave as well, also costing them millions. This site is one of the main sources of that information. If you were losing a large amt, of $$$, would'nt you monitor what was costing you?

    avishi,

None of that is any proof. The apostates could have been found out some other way (someone looked over their shoulder and saw them looking at the site?), or local elders may have looked at the site to catch them out. This does not prove that Bethel operates a a systematic review of apostate web sites.

Your other arguments are reasons for thinking the society might want to spy on this site. None of it is any proof that they actually do so.

Has no one got any PROOF?

I am disappointed in you apostate guys, making allegations that can't be substantiated. It justs makes you look foolish!

I agree, the www.wbts.org isn't the watchtower site, but that isn't what was listed. It was the www.wtbts.org that was listed and as of now I just get an error page for that site.

Gee slim, You asked for "proof" that WT monitors websites. Almost immediatly proof was posted (Watchtower Information Service) Additionally "Quotes" maintains a Website that has recently received a "cease and desist" letter from WT lawyers. That has been discussed here too.

You stuck your neck out there saying some were "dreaming" if they think sites like thess are worthy of monitoring, yet that is exactly the case. All we've established with this topic is 1) you appear naive, and 2) Brooklyn is paranoid.

So do you have another point to make?
