is just going to cause more problems. Red offered an apology and its your right to accept or not but i've been part of many message boards for years and these kind of remarks are capable of starting a rift throughout the board membership.

Princess, thank you so much for all the wonderful work you put into what eventually (after all calmed down) turned out to be a beautiful, fun apostafest. You should never have to deal with what you did and just so you know I think Lost would pay to be your personal body guard for the rest of his natural life. hehe You're a wonderful, sweet person and doc and I are so glad to know you and your honey. We really love you guys and I'm so thankful we know both of you. You hosted the first apostafest we ever went to and your warmth and welcome will always be remembered. Love you guys so so much!!!

I read this thread with great interest - mainly because I wanted to know how that kilted friend of mine was getting on (Thanks for the card, Ross!)

I know not what transpired between you and RHCP but one thing's for sure - you're a lot bigger than your condemnation of her! The warmth you generally exude on this forum is a tonic for us all and I ask that you accept RHCP's apology. In my present predicament I am aware of so many things I hitherto had no real comprehension of. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing - a loving thing - and YOU are tremendously loving and thoughtful. I count you among my true friends - even though we have never met. You see, your loving kindness emanates from afar. Don't let the incident in question impinge on your loveliness.

I really am thinking of you today, Rachel. It isn't nice at all to be hurt. But to to rise above the hurt and be forgiving is the mark of a special person.

I mean what more can a person who has wronged another with words give besides an apology? How can they OWE you more than that? What money? a gift? what should they do besides offer a heartfelt publically apology?

Hmmm, I'm not so sure about all this. Somehow the focus has shifted to Princess but is that where it should lie?

Y'know good people are often more sinned against than sin - the result? they say, "Why the hell should I bother?". I'm sure much effort and bigheartedness went into arranging this gathering. In hindsight lessons have been learned - i hope this doesn't lessen the good memories for you all who were there.

The attention should be focused at least momentarily on the person who takes an apology and for whatever reason throws it back into the face of the person and deems them unworthy even of pennies to return their coat.

I'm sorry, but a person who thinks they are too important or too good to accept an apology should not be just brushed off, even if it is one of the 'sweet and good' class.

Whom of us can really say we have never done or said anything really bad to someone else? What kind of person refuses to accept an apology which obviously came from the heart?

Only God can read hearts. Me? - I'm not in his league. The fact is, we weren't there, we don't know, and i'd rather reserve my judgment for things I do know something about.
