I agree -- from what I've heard it was a nasty situation and Princess does have a right to be angry. However, I edited the posts because the aftershock from this needs to be dealt with privately and NOT on the board because if it's on the board people who weren't there will weigh in with their two cents' worth and then the thread degenerates to a flame war, feelings get hurt, and nothing positive is accomplished.

I hope Princess and RHCP can work things out privately. Princess was a gracious and diplomatic host. RCHP, we've all been there. And we could feel your pain. After your exit most of us were crying because we know that pain. I hope you don't stop posting. Hey DarkUncle! That WAS an awesome chess game. I haven't played in years! That's not what I'm saying at all. Nope, I've never lashed out at others like that while drunk, but I've been in a place where everything seemed to be collapsing around me. I can understand that her anger was wrongfully misdirected toward me, the rest of the people there, and at Princess. None of us deserved it, especially not Princess. RHCP, who I actually don't recall meeting prior to the crap flying, from what I understand is in the middle of a lot of emotional pain from her personal life and leaving the JW's; that's specificly what I mean from us all having been there.

Partially yes. But you weren't there for it. After RHCP stopped talking she sobbed into DarkUncle's chest uncontrollably for a good five minutes. It was an emotionally charged moment, and it was apparent she was in a lot of pain.

This is a good example of what can happen when folks who weren't there come to conclusions that are not valid. I suspect being on the receiving of this "tirade"might make some change their ideas about how they would react to this type of abuse. Bug

Been to many a JW party that had their nasty moments for one reason or another. (Mostly weddings) Unfortunately, a lot of those feelings ended up in the congreation, and created rifts and divisions, that were never settled.
I'd like to think that we here on JWD are above all of that.
I echo Dansk's sentiments wholeheartedly.
Thank you Princess and all "your assistants" for putting on a party we did not get a chance to attend, but we were there in spirit!
