yr absolutely right. Immediately after 9/11, the US put their own police in our port as customs inspectors, AS IF all terrorists came from Canada. The administration tried to blame terrorist infiltration on our country, when the bombers received their flight training in Fla, for cryin out loud.

The Customs' treatment of you and yr partner was unfair and despicable. It is an example of how the administration's attitude about this "war on terror" has alienated many people, even the US' closest neighbour, Canada.

As for this "War on Terrorism", maybe it should start at home, perhaps with the Militia or the Ku Klux Klan?

btw, jim, does this one experience mean you MUST sell yr home here? I'm so sorry to hear that!

I think the main thing would be to stop manufacturing and exporting weapons and having a more ethical foreign policy, particularly when it came to arms.

    Yes all those

    • T72 tanks
    • AK-47's
    • Mirage Jet Fighters

imported from America were a real embarsement durring the war.

    Stacy:

Clinton set up a CIA group to get rid of Osama. His administration decided it would be good to kill him. They came very close to killing him. Bush has been trying for two years and still hasn't killed him even with thousands of troops running around Afghanistan. Apparently he isn't an easy guy to kill.

A Gore commission in 1996 reccommended that the doors to the pilots compartment be locked. The Airlines didn't do anything about that. After 9-11 the airlines finally complied. Other than that we aren't one bit safer because of Bush's so called war on terrorism.

The USA is most assuredly going to get hit again. It's not a matter of IF its a matter of WHEN.

Well I guess I'm going to have to get a restraining order, since Dakota, you don't seem to be smart enough to leave me alone, after I've told you several times in public to do so.

Folks, there is this REALLY annoying and bothersome thing called: Terms of use.

    Anyone read them lately?

    No....

    I thought so.

Argue, of course (over debate, a lost art) as you will.

But keep the barbs to a minimum: both sides.

You won't....but I am stating it for redundancy.

Charlie, I am under the impression this is a public discussion forum. Think you got a case, go for it, big fella. Oh, I still have all the private emails you initiated to me.
