I have read some of the vitriolic comments and anger vented at islamics and arabs in general, who according to the bible, are also semitic, being offspring of Shem, like Ishmael, Isaac and Abraham. If that is true, there is much more anti-semitism in the air calling certain arab countries "evil".
You should read "The Thirteenth Tribe" by William Koestler and read Rabbi Benjamin Freedman's account of the "Balfour Declaration". I believe Jesus was a jew, and he himself is quoted as saying they are "money lovers", etc. etc.
I am not a bible thumper so that is not of my origin. But, ask yourself why a certain group has been expelled so many times from Russia, mainland Europe, and other places throughout history. Could jewish religious customs really be that offensive? I am not at all threatened or offended by jewish holidays, food, music, history or practices. They all seem harmless to me, except the "chosen people" teaching which appears mighty convenient.
So, why would any government expell quiet, reserved, educated people who have a penchant for accomplishment, prosperity, and make valuable contributions? I think the answer lies within individuals like Wolfowitz, Sharon, Fleischer and others who form and operate cabals that manipulate governments.
That is what finally breaks the straw and causes the innocent to suffer with the few corrupt guilty perpetrators. -

well it happens to be thousands of immigrants targeted for their race or religion. The "registration" that has been enacted, making men ages 16 and up, of middle eastern or muslim background, register at an INS office turned out to be a huge trap to detain and deport immigrants, not all who were here illegally, in fact many were in the process of gaining citizenship, and are now being deported.

Yep, the abuse that happened to those individuals is horrible...most of it was done by Prison Guards...who are also doing the same to the NON Immigrants.

No, it comes from the fact that the article was questioning US policy, not Israel. As Jjrizzo so often points out, & it's one I agree with, not all "jews" agree w/Israels policy. Some of what those countries encourage IS evil. But I don't think we should of gone after Iraq. We should have gone to Saudi Arabia. I give a shit who they were descended from. I also give a crap about what Jesus said about the Jews. What people have said for thousands of years about them has led to 2,000 years of genocide. Whether they claim to be the chosen people or not. The dubs claim the same thing. So do the mormons. Do they deserve annhilation? Seems the Israelis are doing a much better job of intercepting Jewish would be terrorists than the Palestinians are at getting the Palestinian Terrorists...Large arrest in Hebron of a group...before they could cause any trouble. Why can't the Palestinians do the same?

Is it wrong? Strictly from a fundamental standpoint, WAR on TERROR. Some people believe in fighting FIRE with FIRE but I say if you dump a whole bunch of fire on my big ass ol' fire you're just going to have a bigger fire. I would suggest water instead which would DIFfussssssse a fire,no? If the only reason they are acting out the way they are is because they love to create terror,they got our goat didn't they. From a non-fundamental I do not believe that is what they are edging to do, it is just a ploy to engage support from the feeble minded. War on terror, Keeping America Free, Axis of evil and other such crapwads that drop out of "his" mouth to perform the equivalent of Pavlov's Bell. Sadly it works. If you really look at what we're doing ,and try to understand how possible it is that we've done something to upset them, I think it will be pretty clear how wrong it is. Just food for thought- What action was taken in retaliation to Timothy McVeigh's acts of terrorism? Did they bomb Oklahoma, his region of origin? Or was he tried and sentenced based on his own actions? How can two entire countries( Afghanistan&Iraq) be held responsible for a select group of mercenaries. As if they are unified in anything, as it stands, amongst themselves. Get real. THINK! What are we waging this war for?
