  For $150: collaboration with the backer so that their story of successfully escaping an abusive belief system (300 words max) features along with others in the final pages of How to Escape From Jehovah's Witnesses. The text will be written by the author but will include a minimum of one quote worded by the backer. The backer will also be allowed to include a black and white photo with their story (with the author's approval of the image) if desired. This perk comes with a complimentary signed, advance copy of How to Escape From Jehovah's Witnesses (mailed 3 weeks / 21 days before it is released on Amazon) with the backer's name in the Acknowledgments.   Part two, sorry. Bo thinks it's a bit of a scam, as one author to another....

  ( sorry for no synopsis above. Basically this is Bo sees it as taking advantage of exjw financially. Since we've already been scammed by Watchtower, he feels we are vulnerable to this sort of thing and that our stories should stand on their own merit, we shouldn't have to pay someone for the honour of having our story as an addendum to theirs).

  Yes it does seem quite a tacky thing to do. As Smiddy says it would be more appropriate to be paid rather than having to pay to tell your story.

  I agree, this is not helping victims, this is someone who's making a living off victims - but victims do make the best victims after all.

  "My campaign is not so much about raising money ..." said man, asking for money, again.

  How to escape? Just stop going to the meetings - they're not the Scientologists and you're not John Travolta or Tom Cruise.

  I know their has been a lot of controversy about Lloyd Evans /John Cedars over the years and I have been on the fence making a judgement about him ,however I think this post by himself LE/JC has tipped the scales.
