I'm more so saying, I am not the type of person to crack and give in when others try to discredit my opinion. If I was that type of person, I'd still be a JW.

Actually, it's surprising you're not still one. You obviously had to change your 'opinion' of the Watchtower somehow. How was that done? Magically? Or did you change your opinion based of facts and reason? Perhaps you changed your opinion due to emotional reasons. Who knows? The fact remains, your opinion changed somehow.

BTW, pointing out that someone is most probably ignorant in a certain area is not usually considered an insult. One wonders why you would be willing to publish your opinions on a public website if you are not willing to accept criticism of your views.

    You are kidding right?..

I dont quite understand why the bashing on Nickey..an experience was stated and there view on it..And because of that its ignorance?..There are somethings in this world that just cant be explained...no matter how much debating goes on..Theres always another side..And no one has to be insulted because of it..Just accept that your view is different.....

    You are kidding right?..

    No, he's not kidding.

Only stupid ignorant pieceashite recalcitrant scumbags think being called ignorant (in a certain area) is an insult. Here is why:

    Main Entry: ig·no·rant
    Pronunciation: 'ig-n(&-)r&nt
    Function: adjective
    Date: 14th century
1 a : destitute of knowledge or education <an ignorant society>; also : lacking knowledge or comprehension of the thing specified <parents ignorant of modern mathematics

It's not an insult, pointing out that someone is uninformed. If someone takes it as an insult, they can only do so because they must know themselves and that they have blindly chosen to stay uninformed... so in a sense, the stupid ignorant sumbitch muffuka is insulting themselves, lol.

You know what ? I asked a simple question all I wanted were simple answers and all I get here are people who want to act like little children. Children bicker, boys and girls ! I guess I should of put in my question that if you cannot treat each other with respect. then don't post here.

This is exactly why I don't hardly come here anymore. One of these freakin days I'm just gonna fly away.

yeah it was going pretty good but some people like Rem and logansrun seem to always get there nasty mouths in it. If there were two people here I would like to see kicked off this board it would be those two. It is interesting to hear different views from all walks of life and you try to have a nice peaceful discussion and some doof screws it up.

There is nothing wrong with being a skeptic as I don't believe all these psychics that claim to communicate with the spirit realm of dead ancestors and such . I mentioned what the spirit I saw looked like and the term grim reaper came up . I don't believe any such spirit exists either . Megadude ------- I don't think any one here can evaluate these things . I do not have panick attacks or run out of my house in fear over these things nor have I ever encouraged these sitings take place thru any form of black arts or scorcery .These things just happen when you least expect it , there really is no scientific evidence that I know of that can prove any of it .

KGB-- that's a good point . You asked an honest question and for those with these kinds of experiences to share . If you are not a believer then there is no reason for you to be replying to this thread . I am not looking to have my experiences evaluated and couldn't care less what any of you make of it .
