Even Scripture doesn't discount ghosts. See Luke 24:37 and 39 and Matt. 14:26. And I'm not sure that everyone who is debating here deny their existence either. It is a matter of interpreting the phenomena--some give a natural explanation while others favor a supernatural one.
I will say this I would testify with my life that the things I seen are true and real. I am not nuts, and I can tell when something is real or not. As far as how can we believe in the bible and believe in spirits is easy. The bible speaks of spirits in many places. I think in Samuel he went to a sorceress and raised someone who had been dead to ask him questions and what was stated? Why did you bring me here.
Yes I believe in the Bible and I believe it is Gods Holy word and I believe that because I except Jesus as my personal Saviour my spirit will at the time of my death will acsend into Heaven. I don't expect everyone to believe in what I believe in, after all the road to heaven is long and wide and the road to hell is short and narrow. With all the experiences I have had with the spirit realm I have never encountered one that was evil or did something to me to harm me. But Oh how I do believe they are here....

I really think it was very unfair to ride mary like you did, all she did was merely share with us an experience that was shared with her. This thread was for those who wanted to share their experiences with others and thats it, it was not intended for some to tear others apart as you had done with Mary. I am glad to see that you both have ended it. She should not of had to prove anything by you, it was just something she felt compelled to share. You know there were many others here who had posted their experiences but you felt compelled to pick on Marys story when there were many others to pick on also. I think that you were doing that to her just for pure pleasure and I would respectfully ask you to not do that on my threads anymore please.

There is nothing in scripture that I personally know of that tells us we have a choice to stay or go, I cannot explain the things I have seen nor can anyone else. Can anyone explain UFO's ? even though several thousand people have claimed to have seen them ? NO ! These are things that are left unexplained, for what the purpose ? I don't know. I am not the all mighty and knowing God. But I do know that what I seen in my life was real and not a figments of my imagination. They were there I seen them simply put.
