    Dear Brothers:

As you have admitted, the Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society did join the United Nations as a non government organization in 1992 ending in 2001, and according to the following Watch Tower this means that by their own actions they disassociated them selves from Jehovahs organization which means that we must treat them like disfellowshiped ones. In other words they are no longer Jehovahs Witnesses or have any right to that name.

    *** w81 9/15 23 Disfellowshiping-How to View It *** THOSE WHO DISASSOCIATE THEMSELVES

13 A Christian might grow spiritually weak, perhaps because of not studying Gods Word regularly, having personal problems or experiencing persecution. (1 Cor. 11:30; Rom. 14:1) Such a one might cease to attend Christian meetings. What is to be done? Recall that the apostles abandoned Jesus on the night of his arrest. Yet Christ had urged Peter, When once you have returned, strengthen your brothers [who also abandoned Jesus]. (Luke 22:32) Hence, out of love Christian elders and others might visit and help the one who has grown weak and inactive. (1 Thess. 5:14; Rom. 15:1; Heb. 12:12, 13) It is another matter, though, when a person repudiates his being a Christian and disassociates himself.

14 One who has been a true Christian might renounce the way of the truth, stating that he no longer considers himself to be one of Jehovahs Witnesses or wants to be known as one. When this rare event occurs, the person is renouncing his standing as a Christian, deliberately disassociating himself from the congregation. The apostle John wrote: They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us.1 John 2:19.

15 Or, a person might renounce his place in the Christian congregation by his actions, such as by becoming part of an organization whose objective is contrary to the Bible, and, hence, is under judgment by Jehovah God. (Compare Revelation 19:17-21; Isaiah 2:4.) So if one who was a Christian chose to join those who are disapproved of God, it would be fitting for the congregation to acknowledge by a brief announcement that he had disassociated himself and is no longer one of Jehovahs Witnesses.

16 Persons who make themselves not of our sort by deliberately rejecting the faith and beliefs of Jehovahs Witnesses should appropriately be viewed and treated as are those who have been disfellowshiped for wrongdoing.

So you have a choice either take the easy and broad road (Matthew 7:13) and follow these disassociated ones, or do as we are doing and separating our selves from them and continuing to serve our Sovereign Lord Jehovah to the best of our abilities being faithfull and loyal to the name Jehovahs Witness.

This is why the Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society has no authority over us because it no longer represents anything as far as the true worship of Jehovah God is concerned. They went to the disgusting thing (Matthew24:15) so now is the time to flee to the mountains so to speak or be destroyed with them.

WHAT results when a lie is let go unchallenged? Does not silence help the lie to pass as truth, to have freer sway to influence many, perhaps to their serious harm?

What happens when misconduct and immorality are allowed to go unexposed and uncondemned? Is this not like covering over an infection without any effort to cure it and keep it from spreading?

When persons are in great danger from a source that they do not suspect or are being misled by those they consider their friends, is it an unkindness to warn them? They may prefer not to believe the warning. They may even resent it. But does that free one from the moral responsibility to give that warning?

If you are among those seeking to be faithful to God, the issues these questions raise are vital for you today. Why? Because Gods servants in every period of history have had to face up to the challenge these issues present. They have had to expose falsehood and wrongdoing and warn people of dangers and deceptionnot just in a general way, but in a specific way, in the interest of pure worship. It would have been far easier to keep silent or say only what people wanted to hear. But faithfulness to God and love of neighbor moved them to speak. They realized that better is a revealed reproof than a concealed love.Prov. 27:5.

lulu, interesting point.....they evidently did become allied with an organization that, according to them, has objectives that are not in line with the bible.

Funny how they forgave themselves, but when I was a kid and wanted to go play at the YMCA, they came down on me.

    LULU,

Very good, I agree wholeheartedly with all that info. Also in agreement with Kelpie's comments.

If there are any spies from the Org. reading this material, let them read :-

    2 Timothy 2:5

"If anyone contends even in the games, he is not crowned unless he has contended according to the rules"

You people are absolutely too funny, and silly to boot. You continue to make entire mountains out of mere mole hills. The way you would have it is that the WTS lent their whole-hearted support to the very organization they believe the beast of Revelation 17 to be. That's absolutely not true, and there could be nothing farther from the truth. The truth is that they simply made strategic use of the United Nations in order to further the good news of God's Kingdom throughout the earth. One might compare the Society's past actions in this regard to an employee who pays Union dues for the sole purpose of receiving BENEFITS that might otherwise be unatainable, while at the same time being totally disinterested and uninvolved in Union activities. Really, has such an employee crossed the line and become part of "the world" simply as the result of paying Union dues? Obviously not!

Great! " The truth is... " I'll use a similar excuse at the next judicial hearing.

There's a difference between an "excuse" and a justifiable REASON for a certain action. You know that, don't you? The Society had good "reason" for what they did, and it was unselfish. Will your "excuse" further the good news of God's Kingdom, you Flop?
