Trying to get answers today was like pulling teeth. No one seemed the least bit interested. Even worse than a 'normal' WT study. Plus there were a lot missing.

After the meeting I never heard a single comment about the study, just the usual 'lunch arrangements'.

OH!! And whats the deal with "All belongings"?....

    Paragraph 17-

"Jesus did not qualify the word "all," as if to limit his belongings to earthly things. In fact, Jesus has vast heavenly authority."

Are they suggesting they will also have authority over the angels?!?

    So let's review.

Only the Governing Body are the FDS, or Faithful Stewards of Jesus parable/prophecy [ parablophecy ]. Evidently the parablophecy is chocked full of hypothetical figures and only part of it have two fulfillments. So from Pentacost 33 CE-1919 AD there was no FDS, even though there somehow existed a first century Governing Body. That GB of Jesus' own disciple and older men chosen by them were "Stewards" and had " stewardships ", but they were not the FDS, even though Jesus' charged them with feeding the sheep. The GB are Domestics when they are alone, but THE FDS collectively, even though Jesus' used a singular word for Slave. So they are like the Planeteers that combine to form Captain Planet.

No other JW, partaker or not, can feed another human spiritually. ONLY the GB can. Why? Spiritual food is narrowly defined as the information in the WT magazine and books published by the WTBTS.

    JW thinking:

    1) Hmmmm?? The word "trinity" is not in the Bible, so it is not a bible teaching. When Jesus prayed, did he pray to himself?! So illogical!!

    2) The word GB does not occur in the bible, it is truth. The GB are domestics and must be fed as such. The GB is the FDS when preparing the spiritual food on which they depend as domestics. The GB feed themselves with the food prepared by themselves. The GB are spiritually destitute without themselves. Nu-light!!!

    DID YOU GET THE POINT?

YES DATA-DOG!: "The GB are Domestics when they are alone, but THE FDS collectively, even though Jesus' used a singular word for Slave"

Yeah, pargraph 10 caught my eye where it says "That word "slave" in Jesus' illustration is singular, indicating that this is a composite slave"...WTF? They didn't even bother to offer any support for that extrapolation.

    Also:

"No other JW, partaker or not, can feed another human spiritually. ONLY the GB can. Why? Spiritual food is narrowly defined as the information in the WT magazine and books published by the WTBTS."

And yet they are careful to point out that the publications are not claimed to be inspired of God. 'Oh and we are not a cult because we do not follow humans.' (compare Reasoning Book "Are Jehovah's Witnesses a sect or a cult?" with well, really all of this article).

Sooooo... "We DO NOT claim to be prophets or divinely inspired. Whoa! No, not at all. That would be cultish. Look, We are just saying that we are God's only channel for providing information to people. DO YOU GET THE POINT?"

They are getting ready to drop a doctrinal bomb next weekend. The timing of this study is not by accident. The lesson today was, "Remember God speaks through us and you need us for everlasting life. With that said, ..........(new interpretation craziness blah freaking blah")

Skinnedsheep: Whoa, you could be right. Ive had the feeling for a few years that theyve been gearing up for something bats**t crazy (even by their standards).

grumble cakes: yes! they are suggesting /prophecying that "they will be judging angels" ranked just below J the father, J the son. ruling over billions of galaxies.

if Armageddon would come tomorrow, the 8 would depart today to take THAT UPPER hand all by themselfs.

then they would humbly, graciously share the load with the 143 992 lesser ones that they thought, taught previously were the F&DS during the millenia.

we are experiencing cosmic history being made.

Why leave all the far-out doctrinal fun to the Church of Scientology?
