During Your IN Years If You Had Anointed At Your Hall, What Were They Like?

    I knew a variety of so-called 'annointed'.

    • Young man who had just got baptized and started partaking right away. Later committed to a hospital for the criminally insane, (Atascadero State Hosp., CA) for arson. (Threw molotov cocktails at 3 churches one night.)
    • Older greek couple who pioneered for years. Humble, sweet people. The husband, Pete, spoke broken English, never 'reached out'.
    • A 'super-elder' who communicated regularly with his connections in Brooklyn. He shared spiritual insights with them and they humored him. He also fought hard to convince me not to go to the police when his 20 yr old nephew wrote a pornographic letter to my 12 year old daughter and tried to set up a liason. I confronted him before a meeting in the middle of a crowded KH and asked him in a full voice why he hadn't warned me his nephew was known to have targeted an underage JW girl before and when the parents put a stop to it he stalked her family through phone call harassment and spray painting ugly things in the driveway of their home. It was all kept hush hush.
    • A young man whose aunt was a pioneer and studied with him until he got baptized. Again, this young fellow began partaking immediately. He also was very impatient to be made a Ministerial servant. He was made an MS and immediately started campaigning to be appointed as an elder. He later became famous for his get rich quick scheme (buying and turning foreclosures) and was all over TV with info-mercials selling his books and tapes. He had to close the racket when he got into problems with the law. He then bought a winery in the Napa valley and is still a JW as far as I know. Google DelDotto vineyards.

Glander...I Googled him. He is living large. After looking at some of the pictures of his Estate, I thought of how much he would have liked to have been chums with Rutherford, and just then I scrolled down and one of his wine growing acreages is called, Rutherford. lol

This man looks like he is always thinking what to do next to get ahead of the next guy.

    Jus Lois

Yes, David and I were pretty good friends. His wife, Yolanda, was a pioneer. Very nice young woman. He was always a go-getter. My uncle performed their marriage in his living room. Same uncle introduced him to wine making and when I once experimented making champagne (3 bottles) it turned out delicious and he was one of the few I shared a glass with. !Almost forgot, I helped him do his income taxes at my kitchen table one April 14th.

I liked him and was always aware of his energy and ambition. Once he and I were helping to move a friend and I rode with him in his pick-up. One of us had procurred a pint of Kessler blended whiskey which we passed back and forth during the 40 minute drive. He had just bought a foreclosed house, fixed it up, and sold it for a nice profit. He said, "Greg, I am going to beat this old system at it's own game..."

I think the Annointed thing was just an early sign of his ambitious nature.

I knew a short little man who was a Gilead graduate. He had been Dfed twice (2). In the looks department, you wouldn't give him a second glance.

    He partook.

After the 2nd reinstatement, we went and visited him. He was lying on a cot, saying he was dying (?) of prostate cancer. We knew a good Doctor and suggested him. Not only did he go to this doctor and get cured (?) he went on to get DF again.

All three (3) times for adultery.

This 3rd time, he lied and lied to his Elders, saying that he was not seeing anyone, but his worldly girlfriend, unfortunately, was the SIL to our old JW friend ZZ.

Our old JW friend ZZ was telling me how happy her worldly SIL was. She had found somebody. His name was X. He was in the midst of a divorce (lie). Her SIL believed everything this twit said and was very happy. When the divorce became final, they were to be wed.

What is his name, what does he do, where does he live?

Alarm bells went off with this information. He was in her Circuit. She knew him and his active JW wife.

Anyway, he was DF for the third time, must be 8 years ago. He was reinstated, all the time partaking and professing his great love of God.

    Just Lois

    • My great grandparents were of the annointed. They were lovely people from the Russel era. They converted from their Catholic faith, so it was natural to go on believing that heaven is waiting.
    • My uncle professed for years, but was then DF'ed for homosexuality (60's). When he was reinstated he then had the earthly hope.
    • In the 80's we had a man in our hall that was well known for being a wife beater (I don't think he was too nice to his 9 children either). He was so self-important - especially at the Memorial. He was eventually DF'ed
    • In my last hall we had a couple in their 30's (with the weirdest kids times ten), the wife started partaking and then the husband started. I would love to hear the lastest on them and their kids (the kids are probably partaking now)

The first one in our congregation that I knew was a brother in his 50's. Was very well known for being a crook running his dry-cleaners. He was really obnoxious.

Later a sister moved in[single mom] that professed to be of the anointed, but she hardly made any meetings because she worked full time and you NEVER saw her out in service. My hubby pioneered for over a year, went out almost everyday and he said that he never saw her.

I would like to know what an honest monthly field service report for a GB member would be.

Get up, put on a dull suit and go down for breakfast with the little people. Do the daily text. Deal with the sycophants kissing up. Go to a business meeting. Go on a chaffuered drive upstate to check on new construction, etc etc.

Maybe set down around the big table in the afternoon and talk about sexual positions.

Go to dinner or have it brought to your apartment. Watch TV. Go to bed.

How much time was spent preaching directly to the pagans?
