Glad you get the point. A cardinal, bishop and even priests often have servants. To cook for yourself, when you could have someone do it for you is a humble quality. It may not qualify everyone to be a pope, but it's something a lot us find admirable in a person who could opt for privilege.

I think this guy should have been pope...he's not even religious and says he is still searching for god. But he is more christian than many of those pampered men in dresses.

They were discussing the fact that Gorge does not like the finest silk fabrics, cooks for himself and rides public transportation. He washes the feet of people with full blown aids and advocates for the poor. He's only been pope for two or three hours: let's see what he does as pope, before we condemn him.
Thats the way he might of lived before but thats not the way he's going to live now.
The controlling aspect of being Pope of this Church details how the man lives and what he does.
Its all gourmet foods and the finest wine now.
Maybe he'll take all those billions that people have been giving to the church and return it where the need is the greatest,
but that too might be out of his hands.
