Q: Why does it go from "governing body" in the first century [no capitalization] to "Governing Body" today [capitalized]?
A: Because capitalization is a subtle way to imply legitimacy as if it was a TITLE or a Proper Noun as a opposed to the JW made up description that it really is. JWs go D2D "disproving" the Trinity doctrine by pointing out that the term "trinity" is not in the Bible, but they follow a Governing Body which is also not a Biblical term. Speaking of "following" ...
You just gotta' love this bit of self-serving propaganda, "Its members do not regard themselves as the leaders of God's people." Really? If that is true, then why are people disfellowshipped for disagreeing with them or for not following them? Because they are lying, that's why!
