    That article is so deceptive.

    1. The word Governing Body does not appear in the Bible
    2. It was not a small group. They partially quote a Scripture that says "they arranged for Paul and Barnabas and some others of them to go up to the apostles and older men in Jerusalem regarding this dispute."
    3. It says "they made a unanimous decision ... that pattern if followed today." Yet the Watchtower leadership only need a 2/3 majority for a decision.

Religion is a game of power for men to procure and indulge themselves with, the lies and corruption to obtain that power are

purposefully devised by that very sought after agenda.

Since the oldest ancient times men have been intensionally trying to attach themselves with the great powers of the spiritual gods

and make it publicly known toward themselves in the social environment of which they lived, its still going on to this day.

It asks How they do it but they really don't tell you "how" they do it. They describe what they do and why they do it. But the only real hint of "how" is when they say:

When they made a unanimous decision, it was a result of discussing what the scriptures say, and yielding to the influence of God's spirit.

Just how do they know they are yielding to God's spirit?

What if the spirit they are yielding to is Satan's?

What happens if they can't come to a unanimous decision?

Umm what scriptures were the early Christian leaders discussing? Christ told them he came to do away with the law. So what were they reading --- if they could read. Let's face it not everyone could read at that time.

Sometimes it isn't so much what they do say as what they leave out.

In any case if they truly were channeling god's holy spirit as his selectively chosen group of men, they wouldn't be making up false proclamations

and having those proclamations fail over and over again, but then again they might be the GB of a religious publishing house which they themselves

have complete standing control over. They might very well be channeling themselves.

Considering this brochure, its rediculous illustrations (complete with 1st century Hobby Lobby decor), and the recent WT illustration of early christians going door to door with a "scrollbag" presumably trying to place the latest Watchtower scroll with the householder...

JW's have seriously jumped the shark.

    They are off the rails.

    They lost the plot.

They have resorted to rewriting history to legitimize their belief system. They don't even know themselves anymore what they believe, why they believe it, or where they come from.

    Somebody pass the popcorn.

Jesus,,,, might as well hang Jehovah and Jesus out to dry. I think in the GB psyche these are the small guys and they are the big guys.

Maybe some day they will just come out and say it as a Convention theme "Be Loyal to the Governing Body and get Everlasting Life"

And surprising enough fellow delusionist will eat it up as spiritual food at the right time.

What about their comments on the Annointed as a whole looking after the interests of gods kingdom on earth? Didn't they recently distance themselves(gb) from the non GB Annointed Christians. Did they receive a backlash from those other Annointed ones?

Truly unbelieveable the way these brochures read.

They must have set the paragraphs up and then edited, stacked the deck and reworked them to death

to produce this 'posed' and slick bunch of crap!

They simply have no authentic claim to their authority. They can't justify it. So they basically have to state that they are in authority because.

The next book released by the WTS should be titled Because

So is the 2/3 majority still followed or is this brochure lying?
