    Balaam sez:

"When serving as an Elder in a medium sized area I personally knew of a number of "Friends" who worked as medical transcibers, court records, police records, medical records, video rental records, USPS, Health Insurance, or medical support. A few times a year one of them would secretly report to their body of elders a JW who had broken the "rules". Being treated for an STD, Blood, Abortions, birth control (single), alcholism, DUI, past due child support, arrests, renting porn or "R", Gun magazines, porn magazines. Hey a JW sorts the mail in our town, so getting the mail at a P.O. BOX in our town will not guarantee privacy. What happens is two brothers make a "Sheparding call" on the JW in question and give them the 5 minute "secret Sins" part. Surprizingly, about half are striken and think "god moved these elders" to uncover the sin and confess..not knowing they got ratted out by a JW. The 1/2 that smile and keep quiet just don't get "used" as much. The spies are protected. No one ever meets the accuser.- Welcome to the real world. "

I can vouch for all of this and I am also 3 gens JW going back to early 1950s If I legally bought a six pack beer and a JW saw me they would blab about it to others. That wasn't so bad but there were times when they were profoundly sleazy treacherous to the point of inventing slander.

I have no sour grapes it is all true JW suck.

    Balaamsass:

Opps, sorry for the misunderstanding and that the religion does not have people "planted" in these agencies. You are right that it would be rather difficult to "plant" people in these places. Thankfully, they don't have that kind of power.

Yes, very true. I saw it too myself. It puzzled me so much and it lead to soul searching after the over ten years of faithful service and dedication to this Watchtower organisation. What even more troubling is that, elders, their wives, their children, ministerial servants, the rank and file, all condon it. Yet here are individuals who will put on their best clothes for the meeting, pretend to be nice to everyone. Theirs is a twisted world of naivety, cold-hearteness, and everythings unchristian.

Had an interesting telephone conversation with an ex-Bethelite about this a couple of weks ago. This Bethelite overheard a phone conversation when a bother picked up a call from a Sister working at the STATE Department who was passing along info to Bethel. At the time the bethelite,(like me) thought it "was cool"..."Jehovah's army"type of thing...theocratic stratigy. Now it is chilling.

    Easy solution:

Have anonymous posters create a wiki list of Witnesses they know who work for the IRS, the State Dept., the FBI and so on, together with the location of these Witnesses. Once created, use it to stop them from violating the law and privacy. Force them to confront their employers and affirm that they will comply.

    This is war, folks.

I was actively employed as a tax auditor for the (state level) department of revenue when I joined the dubs. I read the monthly audit bureau reports that contain all sorts of tidbits of information regarding recent audit activity. I never once passed along anything to the local elders, and I certainly never had any contact with Bethel. I don't doubt that there have many people in similar positions in every government agency.

Finally Awake, Curious with the tax shortfalls for most states, do States ever look "behind the curtain" at Religions, or is that only on a Federal Level?

In the past I have always gotten more questions on business tax returns from the state than from the IRS. A few other business people have told me the same.

I was following a link from here to "Paste Bin" and Anonymous. And came across this. Can someone explain to me WHAT "Paste Bin" is ? Very strange stuff.

"3366. [14:49] WT operate primarily out of california cause d-- adams is related to people in the 3367. [14:49] san carlos congregation he has a neice or cousin who attends there 3368. [14:50] the surveillance expert they use to spy on jehovahs witnesses is named 3369. [14:50] b---- r------ 3370. [14:50] he owns a surveillance company and he is used to tap phones and spy on jw's who seem to be trouble makers 3371. [14:50] he resides in sunnyvale, california 3372. [14:51] he is an ex cop who went private and started his own surveillance company 3373. [14:51] the RBC which is the regional building committee 3374. [14:51] is the western union of the watchtower, they handle all the monetary issues, they work autonomously but answer to the service desk 3375. [14:52] their system is wireless based and has all the information needed to get into the watchtowers main system 3376. [14:52] the RBC system is separate so that it prevents it from being connected to the watchtower meaning 3377. [14:52] if you get into the watchtower system you wont get into the RBC cause its separate 3378. [14:52] however 3379. [14:53] if you get into the RBC system it will get you into the watchtower 3380. [14:53] as its backward compatible so to speak 3381. [14:53] i will have the name and address of the person who runs the west coast operations for the RBC in one hour"

    1. [15:00] and those do not alert the fdic or any governmental agencies
    2. [15:00] as long as they all bank at the same bank say for example chase bank
    3. [15:00] you never know they are laundering
    4. [15:00] and if someone gets wise to it they have jehovah witnesses who work in the bank
    5. [15:00] who can help to cover the tracks or deny a subpoena
    6. [15:00] judge james made a court order for all the bank records from chase bank
    7. [15:01] and wells fargo bank once we showed her the 200,000 dollar deposit that mysteriously vanished
    8. [15:01] she signed the order and three weeks later the case was forced closed
    9. [15:01] apparently certain clerks signed an order that APPEARED to be from judge james dismissing the case
    10. [15:02] but they were forged and did not come from judge james
    11. [15:02] but they were willing to take that risk to prevent us from getting the bank records
    12. [15:02] certain accounts are used for certain things within the watchtower
    13. [15:02] rumor has it that they have like their own
    14. [15:03] witness relocation program, meaning if someone is accused of being a pedophile and the evidence looks credible they will
    15. [15:03] allocate money to that individual and get him out of town
    16. [15:03] i believe they use chase bank for the laundering of big funds
    17. [15:03] and wells fargo for incidential shit that comes up like getting someone out of town
    18. [15:03] then when you ask about that person you are told they are on special assignment for the ministry
    19. [15:03] and you never see them again
    20. [15:04] a letter is sent to the local congregation they move into and the letter states this brother was accused of blah blah but they are innocent and please protect them and assure their privacy
    21. [15:04] one of the main guys that they did this with was paul koehler
    22. [15:05] he was a circuit overseer and when it was apparent he would have to testify
    23. [15:05] he vanished
    24. [15:05] when the judge asked where he was the watchtower lawyer anthony smith claimed he was on special assignment in chicago and could not be reached
    25. [15:06] like i said, our case was forcibly dismissed to prevent us from getting the things under court order we filed for
    26. [15:06] the clerk who aided them in dismissing the case has also vanished from the san francisco court house
    27. [15:06] her name was brenda tolbert
    28. [15:07] we were never sure if she was a jehovah witness or someone who just took a payoff to sabotage the case
    29. [15:07] ironically the san francisco court is aware of all of this and they have a real dilemna cause they dont want the new case to go forward cause it will expose the clerks
    30. [15:07] but they cant find a reason to dismiss it that will look legitimate
    31. [15:07] so they have decided to continue the case for as long as they can, we wont have a first court date for months now
    32. [15:08] i guess to buy the watchtower time to figure out what to do
    33. [15:09] not to mention they have threatened several reporters to prevent them from writing any stories about this in the newspaper
    34. [15:13] the watchtower only fears one thing we found out well two things
    35. [15:13] the media and the IRS
    36. [15:14] during the depositions we gave they demanded to know exactly who we talked to about the money laundering and even went so far as to ask for a physical description of the agents we spoke to
    37. [15:14] they have much covered
    38. [15:14] if say something comes up involving the FBI they have a witness to handle that
    39. [15:14] his name is D-- M-----
    40. [15:15] his father was an FBI agent who actually worked in the FBI's cult division and it was his job to spy on and infiltrate the watchtower to find out more about their goings on
    41. [15:15] M----- followed in his dads footsteps but the opposite way
    42. [15:16] he handles any legal issues that may arise involving local law enforcement or with the feds"
