  ZIDDINA- Very true what you say. The WT society is VERY brazen in their hypocrisy because they NEVER point the finger at themselves - it's always the fault of rank and file Witnesses or exiting Witnesses for not following their orders ! WT society leaders are extremely arrogant. As you said to the point of being evil.

  JUST HUMAN- Good points. I agree that the WT society has been lying to it's followers for over 100 years , very true. But ALL religions have basically been doing that for centuries as you mentioned. Religion is just a method to control the masses. Hopefully as you stated people in the modern world will stand up against the controlling religions. People have more access to information now on the Internet which expose religions for what they are.

  CHARIKLO- So true what you say- word spread around as civilization grew and all kinds of religions got jumbled about confusing the masses of mankind. So anybody saying that they have all the answers doesn't. Lots of varying opinions out there.

  PUNK OF NICE- Good points. The WT society can't stop the huge tide of information exposing them on the Internet. Information control has been a main tactic of the WT society in controlling JW's - NOW they are unable to do so thanks to the Internet. I'm so sorry your wife and daughter are still controlled by the WT society . Hopefully in time they will see through the lies as well. I wish you the best

  THe JWs who are bound to exit will research anyway. The ones who are gonna stick with it might research but will not be moved to do anything. The point Im making is that people who want to research are going to research. Whether or not they are willing to accept the truth about The Truth, is dependent on if the persons mind is not in complete control.

  MRFREEZE- Good point. If a JW is going to research, he or she will do the research. But whether they BELIEVE the research will depend on how much of the WT mind control they are still under. Mind control is powerful and fear and guilt is a powerful force the WT society uses to scare JW's from BELIEVING the research they do on the Internet. Hope more get out ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  Information control has been a main tactic of the WT society in controlling JW's - NOW they are unable to do so thanks to the Internet.

  In other words, as far as information control's concerned, they gave it out and they're going to have to cope with getting it back. There's a sweet irony that in the internet the WT has finally met a worldwide information source that it can't control at all. All it can do is threaten and frighten its members.

  because the ones who are disposed to stick with it and trust the WT won't go anywhere near any form of research on the internet because...wait for it...Satan wants them to! Ta-da!

  ALFRED- Exactly. The WT society has that very self-assured " smug " Sarah Palin quality about them. Very true. Good description.

  CHARIKLO- Good point. It freaks the WT society leaders totally out that they can't control the leaks of information about them on the Internet. As you stated - WT society has finally met their match in the Internet. And they are scrambling to prevent Witnesses from accessing it. Too little, too late. The barn door is wide open and the cows are out to pasture hopping over the fence ! LOL ! But as you stated the fanatic hardcore JW's will avoid the Internet because they think that " Satan " is allegedly behind it. It's the WT society's only tactic to get Witnesses nOT to check the Internet. Scare the Be-Jesus out of them !

  SABASTIOUS- JW's are just supposed to ASSUME the WT society knows the stories are false and implicitly trust them that they know best ! That's what the WT society is counting on from JW's - not to question their authority. It's really sadistic and insidious trickery

  Reality is what actually happens.

  The Watchtower predicted the end of world governments, religions, businesses and wicked people and the rapture of the saints to heaven for the year 1914. World War I broke out. World governments did not end. Religions proliferated. Wicked people continued. Jesus, if he returned invisibly, has done nothing to make the newspapers for ninety-seven years. Who went to heaven and who didn't is unverifiable. However, the second president of the Watchtower Society, J.F.Rutherford reported that Pastor Russell was editing the magazine from heaven.

  If the above doesn't qualify as a FALSE STORY, I don't know what does.

  Consequently, what the Governing Body is REALLY SAYING is this: DON'T RESEARCH OUR STORIES because you'll discover they are false.
