Will he be identified with one of the countries that were part of the former Soviet Union? Or will he change identity completely, as he has done a number of times before? Will the development of nuclear weapons by additional nations result in a new arms race and have a bearing on the identity of that king? Only time will provide answers to these questions. We are wise not to speculate. I didn't cover anything up. What organization on the planet is as meticulous as Jehovah's Organization when it comes to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy? If you require perfection, establish this first before nitpicking and grasping at straws.

Good biblical quote. Maybe you could tell me why the society constantly criticizes the Catholic Church for its pedophile priests when the Watchtower Society themselves paid out millions of dollars in settlements to victims of abuse in THEIR OWN religion?

Also, why when other religions change their doctrine they are criticized by the watchtower, but when the watchtower does it it is "new light"?

The accusations of covering up child abuse in Jehovah's Organization is bit off topic, but these claims are only made by ex-Jehovah's Witnesses unlike the secular sources that initially exposed the Catholic Church.

Did you know Alice that when Daniel wrote those words there were actually two separate
kingdoms in Judea one in the northern part and one below in the southern region.

AIW says that the dates, or periods, don't have to inter-connect in the fulfilment of Bible prophecy.
This makes it so much easier for the GB/Writing Comm. to pull dates out of (their asses) the air, and say this is the 1260 days, 1335 days, 1290 days or whatever.
Have you ever looked at the start and finish dates for those periods AIW ? They are a huge JOKE !
One will start because a certain WT article was published on that date, and another will finish because it was the Saturday of a Convention.

The WT explanations for these periods, and for 1919, are as silly as the explanation in "The Finished Mystery" ( Studies in the Scriptures Vol 7 ) that the prophecy in Rev. 14 is fulfilled by measuring the distance from the Bethel to the Railway Station in Scranton Penn.
I kid you not, page 172 from memory.

The Witchtower applied all these scriptures to the world situation in the late 19th century.
They said Armageddon would come before 1914, that the millennium would begin in 1914 (hence : "The World Has Ended. The Golden Age has begun. Millions now living will never die." This means what it says it is a FACT" 1922 Cedar Point convention.)
They change their doctrines over time as each one becomes an embarrassment to them.
The downplaying of dates is a relatively recent thing, and is largely because people are seeing what they said about dates, and showing them up.
Just as they are now claiming they never said anything about 1975 they will soon claim they never put great store by dates.
Remember that all the stuff you spouted above can be changed at the stroke of a pen, and you will have to learn another pile of meat in due season.
