Christianity has it's own leaders of Men how are they better?

I'm assuming here it's only the Jw leaders you think are wrong?

    Reniaa

Exactly the point; both groups are the SAME...led by men. JW leadership is no better than Christendom despite their aggrandizing claims of superiority. It is so refreshing now, after 48 years as a JW, to associate with good people who diligently read/study their Bibles and who are simply trying to be the very best people they can without the pompous rhetoric of being "the" channel.

As has been already addressed, you err in your logic in that the above referenced quote shifts the burden of proof from JWs proving their superiority (which is your claim) to Christianity having to prove its superiority (which in general, it does not). Reniaa, you truly are a gift. No one on this board better demonstrates the confused nature of JWs as much as your apologetic posts. God does work in mysterious ways. :)

It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it?

For the 1st century Jews, Saul was the good guy, Paul was the Apostate.

For the 1st century Christians, Saul was the bad guy, Paul was the anointed apostle.

In line with Sir82's comment, the "perspective" is human only!! While Saul was out persecuting Christians, Jesus has already determined him to be not only acceptable, but a key member of his team. The lesson to be learned is that we, as humans, should not be seeking to judge others' hearts and determine who is and who is not apostate based upon our limited knowledge.

As Paul' case documents, one man's apostate may be Jesus' chosen and annointed one.

I've managed to liberate several people from the iron fist that lurks inside that velvet glove called the WTBTS.

It's a truly great experience to know you've saved them from the guilt, fear, brainwashing and deluded thinking.

No hatred for anyone here Reniaa only love for humanity. Sorry if that doesn't fit you prescribed template of what you think 'apostates' should be like.

    hi stonewall and isaac

Are you saying that any christian faith that puts a date on Jesus's return then condemned as false prophet whichever time they did it since the prophecy was written?

    My reply:

No. Putting a date on Jesus return is unwise but not a sin. Putting God's name on it is. The WT has put dates and stamped God's name on that date many times.
