For them to sit during a part of the service that entails standing, wow, what morally superior assholes. They should just not attend something rather than disrupt and be disrespectful.

I am so sorry for your loss. I almost lost my JW dad last year due to the blood doctrine and I know how frustrating and heart breaking it is to have to go through this all because of their screwed up doctrines.
I hope you go and wear your police uniform.
