  I'm fascinated that the word has evolved from oik to oic! See, evolution really is true!

  S'easier to write using a 'c' !!! I've seen it spelt 'Oyk' as well though.

  Maybe this is the proof that we are more intellectually evolved in Yorkshire!

  Which hotel(s) are you all in? We are in one near the centre of Manchester that Trev knows well from previous visits.

  We are staying at the Lowry which is a bit posh but it's a birthday treat for Ian (South African Beef). It's his birthday on the 20th.

  Your'e not all that far from us then Bubble, about a mile. We are at the Smithfield, on Swan Street, just round the corner from Manchester Victoria station.

  So what is normal?

  Usual or typical. In the case of most of the apostafestees attending the curry, they have completely thrown off their JW mindset and are what would be considered by society as being decent, everyday citizens of that society, believing in democracy and the equality of their fellow man.

  A bit of bad news i am afraid ian.

  Me, Megan and Carl can't make the curry.
  
  With conflicts at home with my parents and similar for Megan were starting to save for our own place, and the money we'd of spent at the Curry and Pub will really give us a headstart with the whole process.

  Were hoping to be in around Christmas, either before or just after and if not be very close to it. We hope ya understand, obviously were both disappointed and it was a difficult decision to make. What will probably happen is that we will have a small gathering of our own in the future when were sorted and settled.
