Trev is bringing his digital camera and his 35mm SLR and 2 rolls of film, I managed to talk him into it, so there will be plenty of pics on Saturday. We'll upload the one of the digi when we get home, and he will take the 35mm films to be developed when he goes to work on Monday. He says the SLR will be better for taking a group picture.
Just a point about photographs! Not everyone likes their picture taken at an apostafest because they are still fading from Watchtower. So, please don't anyone think that they will automatically be on any photographs. I know at least one person who will be sitting it out! There's also a way to be photographed and have your face blanked out - but I don't know how to do it! If we take your photograph we'll be asking your permission to have it published - and, of course, you can refuse.

Ian,
We were discussing this last night, and Trev's idea is to take a few group photos with his SLR and offer to send them to people as a memento, either scanned in and emailed or by post. He would ask if anyone wants to remain anonymous, and their pic won't appear on the board. He will upload the pics of the ones who don't mind having their pics on here when we get back on Sunday.

Good stuff, Linda, but:
oics
What's an oic?

What's an oic?
lol
Aren't we all thankful sometimes for having the facility to edit posts.
What's an oic?
That's actually what some folks call a badly behaved child on our side of the Pennines!

What's it stand for?:
Overly Irascible Child?

Actually, I've heard Trev call people oics from time to time, and he didn't mean kids, but someone who's pi$$ed him off in some way. You can ask him what they are on Saturday Ian. It's not a term I'm that familiar with, despite my typo error.

I think you mean Oiks! An oik is an uncouth or obnoxious person.
