Severus

Hmmm, for Harry Potter fans there need be no explanation.

For timid demonophobic lurkers who think that the devil is in the DVD, Severus refers to Severus Snape, Hogwarts professor and double agent for the good and wicked sides of the magical world. As a condemned turncoat who seethes under his dour cloak, it is still unknown which side holds his allegiance. His power is a twisted freedom of access to leaders and sworn enemies.

Severus is also word play for sever us: a frequent wish on behalf of the millions of JWs who play along for fear of ostracism.

Peppermint

I drink a lot of peppermint tea on account of having a problematic digestive system. When I first registered I had a cup of peppermint tea in my hand. This lead to it being my username due to a lack of any other inspiration at the time.

DigitalFokus

Digital = the first part of my website url

Fokus = sounded neat

and my avatar is just the wheatcracker that posts here under the name digitalfokus

Genesis

Genesis is the name of one my progressive rock band ever. And its also the first book in the Bible...

I'd like to say that I’ve read all five pages of this topic. I’ve found everyone’s explanations thoroughly enjoyable!

My user name:
I love Star Wars. I’m truly surprised that I was allowed to watch the movies and own the toys considering my strict cult upbringing. I’ve always had a thing for the dark side and one day it just hit me that, if, a long time ago I lived in a galaxy far far away my Sith alias would be Darth Yhwh.

My avatar:
My sister had recently divorced and I was very close with her husband. I was on a road trip with a buddy of mine to go see him in Bloomington IN. On the way home before we left town we stopped into this bead shop where I bought this little gem. I call him my tiki voodoo head and he’s been hanging on my rear view ever since (about 13 years).

Peaches is a nickname people have called me for years....

I change my avatar fairly regularly but its usually some pic of myself! Currently that's me holding my toy called Flat Eric. He's so cute. He is actually going over to South Africa for a fortnight in a few days. My friends borrow him and take him on trips with them. Its great because he gets his photo taken in many interesting places and sometimes with famous people.
