I for one - had I found out about the UN thing exclusively, would have left the organization with no doubt.
As it is - I found out much more before I learned of that matter.
I told one elder about it - showed him a copy of the UN press release. He read the first paragraph where it indicates that NGO organizations must support the UN's charter and principles both in word and deed, handed it right back to me, as if it was on fire. He said this could not be real. Further effort to reason were all blocked then. I asked him if he found out that the JW organization had done this and that God had condemned them for it what would he do? He stated "If she goes down I will go down with her".
Denial. That is a witnesses' only protection. And that is no protection from the wrath of an angry God they call Jehovah. If he would destroy me for using the YMCA gym, he will not protect the liars in Brooklyn who joined up with the ten headed wild beast, will He?

Edited to add: Did our dear poster who started the thread just hit and run. Did he think that because a book publisher stated negative things about the UN in a few articles that it did not do the deed that is well known and provable?
