It's official; they read the letter tonight that puts forth the new procedure. If you find an expelled person in the field or are studying with one, you are no longer permitted to give them lit. Presumably the Elders make a decision if an expelled one is regularly attending meetings, but only they can give them lit.

They must think we are really stupid, and unable to get our grubby little mits on their literature from other sources.

They must think we are really stupid, and unable to get our grubby little mits on their literature from other sources. Exactly. Me being an active Dub what happily provide "outsiders" with the literature. Others here would readily do so as well.

Why? Are they scared we might reveal something to their "believers"?? How can we, there is nothing there to reveal!! Mr. Flipper

I don't get it. We were always instructed not to talk to disfellowshipped people when out in service. I don't think I ever heard of anyone giving a disfellowshipped person a study.

expelled one = disassociated or disfellowshipped, announced "no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses" from the stage

doesn't sound like it will include "inactive jws." I wonder if that includes "inactive apostates"?

Actually since 2004, the WTS did not want literature dropped off by jws at the homes of the df'd but must pick it up at the KH.

*** km 7/04 p. 3 Question Box ***Disfellowshipped persons may obtain the magazines or other literature for their personal use at the magazine and literature counter at the Kingdom Hall. Disfellowshipped persons should not be included on a personal magazine route.

I think what changes is that they might not be able to have the special 2nd monthly WT designed only for jws...similar to the policy re the KMs.

I think it is nothing more than another attempt to "demonize" us.
