Kids Still Get Whacked @ Armageddon. Current Light. (With Pix!)

  If you've clicked around on other sites, you can find the troubling picture I grew up with from the old orange Paradise Lost book. A big old Armageddon earthquake that is swallowing up people, churches, a bicycle, a DOG! (what did he do?) and of course, a little girl in a dress that is indelibly planted in my memory chips.

  Now, if you asked most dubs these days about that picture they'd say, "well, that's Old Light from the 1960's. We don't have anything like that now."

  GONG!! WRONG!!

  Fast forward to THIS WEEK'S CBS in the Rev Climax book. If the F&D Slave is having us study it now, it's definitely "Present Truth".

  This week's study is about the Harvesting of the Earth. And there's a very coldly, creepy picture depicting it. (Somewhere around pg 220 or 221. Sorry I didn't mentally note the pg #.) It's the second to the last page of the chapter. Up top there's Jesus with a gold crown and big sickle in his hand that is "harvesting" the good JW people on the top of the page. Big juicy grapes and catatonic looking zombies all headed for the sky or eternal tiger petting.

  At the bottom, there's an angel with a big sickle who is "harvesting" the Earth. (BTW, the angle looks very nonchalant. Detached even.) Shriveled grapes, but still eerily happy looking people. They are led by 4 dudes representing all that is ebil about this old system. A priest, a shifty-eyed, stogie-smoking businessman, a politician and a 5-star general. Behind these guys are a bunch of ordinary looking people and everyone looks just fine even by WT standards. Woman is wearing a skirt (as all WT-approved females should, 24/7) and not a demon-possessed headband or neck chain in sight. Where are these nice looking folks headed? An Auschwitz gas chamber perhaps? Close, but no cigar. Turn the page for the anwer. That's right: The Winepress of God's Anger! This is the picture of the horses with the blood up to their bridles. And all that blood came from the people at the bottom of the previous page.

  OK, now flip back to the vine of the Earth and take a closer look. Look at the 5-star general's right shoulder. Look at the furthest star out on his epaulet. Now look right above that 5th star and what do you see?

  A LITTLE GIRL WEARING A RED TOP!

  Yep, Watchtower God is still hell bent on making sure non-JW kids get whacked at the Big A.

  You might want to ask the next JW who comes to your door about this.

  The only difference between the Revelation Climax book and the Paradise Lost book, is that the former is in living colour, whereas the PL was 'only' in black and white. Still same sick message: all children of "worldly people" will die at Armageddon. Hopefully though, because the God of the Watchtower is a loving and merciful God, He'll make their deaths relatively painless.

  It shows the depths of mind control when 6.5 million Witnesses can sit through a bookstudy looking at these pictures and get an odd sense of pleasure 'knowing' that little kids are going to be murdered 'soon'.

  Another thing that most Witnesse never stop to think about, is what the psychological after effects of Armageddon would have on those that survived. Look at the effect that 9-11 had on people, and that was when two buildings collapsed. According to the Dubs, 99.9% of all the people and virtually all of the buildings around the world are going to be destroyed. And even if you take away the psychological effects, what about the physical effects? Look how many rescue workers from 9-11 have come down with severe respitory ailments. With the collapse of civilization itself at Armageddon, the after effects caused from the destruction, would have a catastrophic effect on those that survived, both physically and mentally.

  Of course, most Witnesses never think about that. Those questions get in the way of them eating a vegetarian picnic and petting a lion at the foot of a mountain.

  Oh Mary, you silly girl, don't you remember that god will wipe every tear from our eyes? LOL

  I am wondering about the psychological effects on the children models. Another form of child abuse? What must it be like for these children that see drawings of themselves being destroyed? I'm not sure how I would have handled seeing something like that as a child.

  I can't believe I though it was ok for my children to view such things.
