I had a chance to go, years ago, but just had no need to go.
My brother & sister in law, are going because they will be working at warwick. My sister in law is so excited, she's probably already wet her pants a few times. At a CA last year one of the gooberning body was there, watching her, it was like a giddy school girl, gushing over the hot boy of the week!
It's funny watching these people get so stupid over these men!

this may sound insane but i literally have blood on my hands as i have just come home from a counselling session that went wrong...i wanted to collate all that has happened and record it...hospital policy is against it.
i said "what am i alive for then if not to tell the truth" she tut tutted and i walked out sadly in despair.. when i got to the ground floor there was a young girl screaming her head off.
she was afraid, that is all she was...........afraid.
WoW! I am a wreck just from reading your posting! I am so glad that you cared, and took the time to follow someone with the look in their eyes, and not be afraid to step in and help! I hope that poor girl can get the loving help she needs!

when i was an elder in the 80s, a 16 year old baptized jw girl had confessed that at school during lunch a boy kissed her and touched her privates over her dress.
the circuit overseer was in town and we told him of the situation and he called the society and then told us that mother said we were not allowed to conduct the funeral in the kingdom hall or anywhere else with the threat of removing us and being dealt with judicially if we disobeyed.
the mother who is about 79 years old comes once a year to talk to my mom about the situation.
That is right up there with some of the worst I have ever heard : (

i live between two cities that are big enough to have their own metropolitan trolley cart arrangements organised at circuit level.
the 3 congregations at the hall i attend have trolley schedule noticeboards.
i see trolleys in the high streets and markets locally.
When it comes to the carts, the standing around speach less, maybe the normal, way to do, in Brooklyn, but there are Large parts of the USA, that people aren't put off by strangers making eye contact, and or even talking to them, as long as they don't try to hold them, if their in a hurry, even then a friendly hello would go a long way, to get people that pass by, to even stop and talk sometime!
But according to gb think, Brooklyn is the norm for everywhere!
But I will never them! Hahaha

i ask because my gf, who knows all about my jw upbringing, convinced me to grow a goatee, just to see how it looks.
we both decided it looked good so i decided to keep it.
