Don't know about any dead bodies, but did hear that the new 90 Sands edifice is plagued with mold/mildew problems as a direct result of the Bethel construction crew improperly installing moisture shields in the baths of some 350 rooms. No wonder they want to move out of Brooklyn.

I love CURRY

i love hot food and this curry paste makes any dish taste authentic.
i made some for my mom and she said it tasted just like it was from a restaurant.

Roots
by Xena inin speaking with some people the other day i realized i have no roots....no long term frienships....no family connections.
i went to a party and almost all of the people there knew each other from high school or college or family friends.
i felt so out of place.

I understand how you feel. Since I quit doing the elder thing it's like I'm not valuable anymore. Just a mere junior dub. I've also discovered that most dubs only want to know you when they need something. I've counted my phone calls the last three weeks.... the only time anyone calls to just say hey! is when some of my friends from other places call. In the last three weeks only one of my dub friends called as a friend. Huh!

I believe that the dubs seem to attract many who are prone to n euroses and gullable too. Oh and bring along any qet rich quick scheme, MLM program aka pyramid scheme, etc. and it spreads like wildfire. If it involves some health assistance scheme all the better. In our area the big thing was Noni juice to heal everythng that ails you. Have cnacer drink Noni, have a bad back drink Noni. Boy what a joke but at $35 a bottle and you need two a month it sure puts money in someone's pocket.

Having been on Zoloft for about two years or so I can tell you it made a world of difference it my outlook. I never would have believed it. I have recently started taking B-12 injections as a supplement to this. Some think that you can eventually abandon the psycotropic meds and just use regular doses of B-12 and mega B or other type B multiple. I do notice a change in my outlook after several months of this. Ask your physician.

ELDER,plus,BETHEL ELDER?

local brothers don't have two elder titles.what is the thinking behind this?elders have control of the cong.but if you are living in bethel,do you control other bethelites because you are also a bethel elder.a doubling of the elder title.what about the sister's,are they sister so and so in the cong.and sister so and so in bethel ?

Just another control of the WTS. Bethel elders are spoosed to be held to a higher standard, in other words are they good little Bethel groupies and follow all the rules of the House. Of course before you can be one everyone around you gives these secret reports on you. Your table head reports about your attendance at breakfast... be sure not to miss breakfast because this is morning worship... and where they tall all about the new rules of the week etc etc ad nauseum... The Society's CIA at it's best.

Just what constitutes a "good seat" at an assembly?

My best seat was always my senior dub office complete with sound and video, where the AC ran full blast, and had two junor-assistant dub attendants sitting outside in the hallway keeping people out. What fun, how sad.
