  Is there anyone else who hasnt gotten there Secret Santa???

  i havnt received mine yet, im just wondering how many others havnt either???

  just incase mine has been registered so it can be tracked.

  we have already had one bad experience this week, had to send on hubby's xbox console as it overheated and died, the post have "misplaced" it, im so glad we have it insured.. es.

  anybody read this book?.

  my sister in law recommended it to me after reading some of my essays.. i was hesitant because of the "pray" part.

  i'm currently very anti-religion.. well, i heard oprah (my hero) was featuring the book and the author on today's show.

  I'm a few pages from the end, should finish this evening. I read it reluctantly and only pushed by a friend I love and respect. I've really liked it and don't feel like it pushed religion. I believe in a personal spirituality if desired, but not religion. I'm already recommending it to friends.

  early christians chose to be thrown to the lions rather than renounce there taith.

  my story is the opposite i observed my congregatioon as a pack of wolves.

  and i observed the big bad wolves were usually the elders.

  New Light Extravagansa!!

  a lot of people are in a little fuss about the generation change, which as far as im concerned, doesn't change anything, it could be step one of a bigger adjustment down the track, but on its own, its been done.

  but at the annual meeting of the wtbs, there wasn't 1 but 5 changes of thought, the light has literally exploded.

  one that has caught my attention is the the change on the dragnet of matthew 13. if you have wt 92 6/15 read it!

  It's hard to believe that people can lap up this crap with a straight face.

  But that's where they get you. You have to accept that the gb, wts or whatever speaks for jehovah. Once they've got you there, most people will do anything, ie drink the kool-aid. That's why it's impossible to reason with them. You could turn the light out (as if it isn't already) and they'd still not notice anything wrong.

  Shock at the Doctor's office...

  i had a routine doctor visit this morning with a primary care.

  she happens to be someone i saw once about 9 years ago during a brief swap in insurance providers.

  shortly after that visit, our insurance changed and the doctor was no longer on the "approved" list.

  It can pop up in old computer records. I was surprised once, as you were. Every year or so I ask the clerk at the doctor's office to check to make sure I'm not listed as a jw.

  i knew that i should feel like a spiritual person, but couldn't work out why i never did.. .

  A very long time. Getting out was a process of many years. Even after finding this site it took reading "Crisis of Conscience" to finally learn the truth and let go.

  What a waste of a life. Would the judge think other adult decisions would have been OK? What about marriage? He may have been mature for his age, but this judge seems entirely short sighted.
