JW is Growing in India for sure, so as the Pentecostal and other young christian denominations.

What’s The Strangest Belief of Jehovah’s Witnesses?
by minimus inthere’s a lot.
i think one strange view is how only 144000 go to heaven.
since the number is mentioned in the symbolic book of revelation, you would expect that the number would be viewed as figurative, but jws say otherwise.

They follow what they claim is a literal application of the improper usage of blood when it comes to transfusion, yet those same scriptures don't prevent them from allowing modern medicine from using blood for tests instead of what they say is the only proper use of blood- sacrifice and disposal
Yes, I always wanted to ask a JW about this. If blood is only to be used for sacrifice and disposal, JWs shouldn't do any blood work tests at all.

Nothing tastes better than Freedom. I am an Ex JW and relishing every moment of life, to be free from a cult. Looking back I can only laugh at how silly my beliefs were, once. You too would experience the same.
Wishing all the best.

The strangest Belief for me to swallow was "Only JWs would survive the Great Tribulation". Any others, however good they may be, would be destroyed."

I remember Jesus riding on 2 donkeys. But the cover picture has only one. May be a spare one drawn at the back of the one being ridden ?

Why dont practicing JWS cant accept the fact that the Watchtower Corporation is a commercialized false prophet ?
by Finkelstein into the majority of people who investigate the activities of the wts from its beginning history there were obvious false proclamations and doctrines propagated by the wts.. a matter of fact the wts produced a long list of literature that posted proclamations on the front cover and went into detail of things that were suppose to happen, from jesus returning changing the world in which we live and so on.. wonderful things one might say but not factual or either theologically correct .

I have seen many staying in for several reasons, even though bombarded with so may failures.
Fear of Life and feeling Insecure.
Recognition.
Cant turn back as they have invested too much of their lives. EGO plays a role here as Venus said.

Toasted daughter: Why Jephthah almost certainly sacrificed his daughter to a complicit Jehovah
by Diogenesister injehovah's witnesses insist that jephthah did not sacrifice his daughter to jehovah.
this is important to them because, rarther than jephthah just being a random bad person, jehovah was very much in on the deal.
after all, he made the promise to jehovah that he would "offer up as a burnt offering" on his return the first thing to come out of his house if jehovah would give the ammonites into his hands in battle, and since they were this makes jehovah complicit.. the isrealites had been getting a good thrashing of late, and the gilead elders (oh boy) had come out to ask jephthah, the rejected son of a prostitute (wouldn't you know it) and renown soldier, if he would lead the isrealites into battle for them.. this is when jephthah makes the deal with jehobo, and it all centres on the word for "burnt offering", which is given as "olah".

Thanks eyeuse2badub. This is one verse to meditate and throw up
Judges chap 19 vs 29: When he reached his house, he took the slaughtering knife and took hold of his concubine and cut her up limb by limb into 12 pieces and sent one piece into each territory of IsraelAnd JWs proudly say that they don't watch R rated movies and hate violence.
I believe with all certainty that Jephthah's daughter was burnt alive or at least this is what the Bible means .

Watchtower Corporation is a commercialized false prophet
As a first argument, there is nothing such as a "Prophet", because nobody can predict the future other than the Weatherman maybe , who in turn relies on science.
