The Second Coming of Christ

the second coming of christ was in the 1st century at the destruction of jerusalem the temple the law and the old covenants.

so the new eternal covenant came into force in which people of every tribe tongue and nation would enter into.

the new jerusalem not built by human hands nor with bricks and mortar its spiritual cannot be seen but people will stream to it the sin issue is done there is no more judgment for those in christ .

Why cant Jesus give a weeks notice to all the media of the world and then descend from heaven with all his glory and pomp, so that this would be broadcast live in 4K Ultra HD, through out the world.

After landing on earth, he could redo his spectacular miracles like resurrecting some (really good) people who had died, walk on water(New York to London on the Atlantic) and feed all the hungry ones with 2 loaves and 3 fish.... All live streamed in the media.. This would end all debates and for sure I would Join the Jesus club.

100% will say there are no apostles from the 1st century alive today.

The only outcome is that the second coming was in 70ad in that generation in which some were still alive

I don't believe the 70 AD coming, which was as fictitious as any other event in the Bible .

Also have serious doubts about the first coming of Jesus. Why didn't Jesus write a portion of the Bible Himself ? If his miracles were true, it would have been known worldwide then.

My friend the 'Super-Dub.'

i speak semi-regularly to an old friend of mine who i would describe as a super-dub.. he knows i am inactive but over the years i have peppered him with a lot of questions about the org.

that i hoped would make him at least pause and think somewhat rationally about the reality of being a jw in this brave new- post gb 2.0 world.. we have discussed everything from the generation changes, to the u.n. , failed prophecy, flip flops, the reduction in size of the wt magazine, the closing/ consolidation of bethels including lay-offs, jw broadcasting, cart witnessing- etc, etc.. what do i mean by super-dub?

he is a born-in, has missionary parents, he reg.

Well Explained joey jojo. Reflects a lot of my experience too.

I too had a super Dub friend, who helped me a lot when I was in and hates me more now, after I left.

My final conversations with him regarding TTATT provoked a lot of anger in him and he acted as a Sub-GB to make my other JW associates hate and shun me. I still email him, reassuring my love for him but he never responds.

i saw this on facebook: "i would like to thank the lord i am ok. had a serious fall yesterday from my garage landing to the cement floor and landed on my back.

i suffered a closed head wound, severe cervical sprain, 2 broken ribs and multiple contusions on hand and arm and shoulder.

could have been a lot worse.".

They will thank Jehovah for a meeting, or convention, but overlook the bus load of witnesses that got killed or injured while on their way to attend!

I was told by a JW that this happened in South Africa and some who survived started to think and became apostates. Many times, I would hear sisters thanking Jah for a Bible study he gave them.

Strip off the old personality

yesterday’s watchtower talked about how by becoming a jw it enabled “worldly” people to ‘strip off the old personality’ and make really significantly good changes in their life.. paragraph named 4 individuals (anonymous names of course and probably embellished tales)) sakura, ribeiro, stephen, and hans.

their lives changed for the good because they found god or because they became jw’s---right?.

so on the way home from this wt meeting, my wife commented to me how wonderful our brotherhood is and how it helps people who would otherwise be ‘lost’ n this world.

I know a few people who became fervent Christians (Not JW) after living a nasty life. Some profess that Jesus advised them to repent and come clean. It's in all the religions, especially Christendom.

Many Witnesses are just plain tired out!

i believe that many witnesses are tired out or at least tiring out.

i know....... because i am tired out!.

imagine going to college for 20 years not knowing when college is finished.

When I was in, I was literally tired and irritated to look up John17:3 from the Bible, every time, when referenced from the podium

In my experience that was the most repetitive verse I had heard in that religion . Everyone knows by heart what that verse is and I would wonder why the heck we need to open the Bible and see it over and over and over...and over . If we don't look it up from the Bible, we are looked upon by suspicion . Oh holy heaven!!!

The Change

the change has begun.

my jw friends that came to my house months ago finally have figured out i am in no way going to become a jw (how it took them that long i have no idea).

now the change to them wanting to have nothing to do with me has begun.

Even if you had been a JW for decades and been disfellowshipped or disassociated yourself, you would be treated as you never Existed at all. Its a CULT, no wonder.

I had these nagging questions, while still a devout JW.

Why is it that so many good people out there not accepting the teachings of JWs.

Will every non JW good soul be destroyed at Armageddon. My mother in law is a good protestant christian but never accepted the Watchtower teachings at all. I could not accept that she would be killed in Armageddon.
Noah's flood. How can so many fit into the ark ? The flood waters covered the highest mountains - Mt Everest. That means Noah's cruise club inside the ark should have had Oxygen masks to breathe at such an Altitude.

And then came the 607 BC investigation which started off everything, followed by the blood fractions, Organ transplants, vaccinations, Beth Sarim, Generations... truck load of Failed prophecies, self righteousness of the GB... UNO Secret tie and plastering when caught, Finally the truth has set me free.
