The next big JW group illness will be........LOOFHUAS.

as we know, it seems that many witnesses "suffer" from "illnesses" at times.. now , before anyone scolds me for being insensitive or unfeeling, i am not mocking those who really suffer from illnesses of any sort.
i am having a go at those that jump on the bandwagon of the popular illness, which actually makes real sufferers feel jaded.. i am referring to the way that many witnesses who are actually damaged as a result of the constant "fear.obsession.guilt" of jw propaganda, often seem to "contract the current illness going around", or blame it on that instead of looking at the real cause.. im sure it is a subconcious result of the burdensome pressure of jw life that brings it on.
instead of seeing the draining effect on their lives as being the result of witness life, they will latch on to the next illness going around.. so, what is the latest going to be?.
The next big JW group illness will be........LOOFHUAS.

lately, even late night comedians are starting to make fun of the president.. i hear more negatives about the president than ever before---even from his own voters.. (i had high hopes for him when he beat mccain but since then, i believe the president has been a huge disappointment)..
Obama reminded me of a JW elder when he first started campaigning, and he still reminds me of a JW elder.
catholic workers ordered to attend jehovahs witness meetingseptember 8, 2014 by mary maria leave a comment.
san francisco, california in an interesting case of religious rights in the workplace, the 9th circuit court of appeals has ruled that employees of the san gabriel/pomona regional center must attend services from the kingdom hall of the jehovahs witnesses.
the protestant church is not exactly known for its ecumenical cooperation or respect for the catholic church which it often decries as being a supreme object over the whole earth that rhymes with the word lore.. at issue is a five year dispute brought on by catholic employees who care for a disabled man at the facility.
This is total bullshit. The crybaby Jehovah Witnesses would be the first crying to the court about their rights being violated if their employer ask them to go to church with a patient. Of course the JW religion does not have the integrity to respect the conscience of the Catholic people and tell the judge to not force them to attend meetings at the KH. Where are the JW's when it comes to picking this man up and carring for him at their meetings? They are nowwhere as usual because they consider old people a burden to them if they need anykind of assistance at all or they don't fit the Corporate profile.
i just turned in my resignation letter to my congregation a few weeks ago.
last week, 2 elders called me to say they received my letter and would like to meet with me to discuss my concerns.
in my letter, i said i had found out about all the child abuse cases that were going on and that i didnt agree with their policy of disfellowshipping.
I'd say, "I don't want to be part of an organization where certain men have critically important information that they think could be life saving and they won't tell that person what it is when they are standing right there in front of them." Exit right.
.
Maybe it works like their stupid JW.Org campaign. Even though the JW is standing right in front of you offering you a tract, you have to go to JW.Org and request a visit from a JW to answer your questions.
Hello.....why couldn't the JW just there offer to answer any questions?
i'm giving 3 examples of this practice--that i know of personally.. .
my first wife--born in--divorced me over 30 years ago.
she totally shuns our son--now 38--d/f'd and now happily married and enjoying life to the max.. my pioneer partner--from the mid 60's-----he totally shuns his daughter---to the point of even ignoring her in the street.. a close friend of mine--in the 60's and 70's-----i was best man at his wedding.
sillygirlforgotpassword ........I am sorry you had to endure this in this cult. Glad things have improved somewhat. Hugs to you.
some may remember the time when the private study edition of the wt wasn't to be made available to outsiders, and the df'd.. now, with the recent boe letter, sept 1, 2014, it specifically states that jw.org is making the km available even for df'd individuals.. do you sense a new trend developing?.
Some people have been shunned by their JW families for decades. Would they so willingly accept their JW family back into their lives just because GB 2.0 lifted the shunning practice? That just shows the Watchtower is more wrong on bible doctrine beliefs and following the lead of men.
so i was just thinking about my days at wtf and driving out for book study when it dawned on me.. bethelites are given a stipend for travel based on nyc public transportation.
depending on how you pay let's just call it a $5.00 round trip.. if you drive your care you're also reimbursed for mileage at the standard irs rate.
let's round that down to .50 per mile.. if four bethelites get in a car and drive an average of 30 miles to the (former) bookstudy the society is spending 4x$5.00 for the stipend plus and additional $30.00 for mileage.
The bookstudy was blended with another meeting, eliminating one night per week of kingdom hall use; that means that more congregations could fit into one kingdom hall.
.
Good point. More Congs sharing a building means splitting the utilities and more money leftover to send to Brooklyn. I conducted the study at the KH. Looking back it was silly to get all dressed up to go to the KH for 1 hour and study the Revelation book nonsense like 3 different times.
as we all know, the org now wants everyone to count the number of flimsy, one page tracts on every monthly report from now on.... so, what is the general buzz around the traps about how many the average witness is reported to have placed?.
(yes, it is a seriously stupid thing designed to keep the flock busy and also designed to measure their 'spirituality').
i need to fudge my report, and i havent got the foggiest clue what sort of numbers each witness has on average 'placed'......
Do they count tracts now on their JW time reports? Unless I'm mistaken, I don't remember tracts being listed on the reports. Seems like there was magazines, books & brochures. Tracts were somethng I left in a door if I never has any old magazines to leave.
P.S. Was I really in a former life a cult member who keep track of time & placements and listed it on a report to send to cult HQ? LOL

One elder said to me a few times, "if you knew what we know, you wouldnt want to leave."
.
Perhaps the new light is each circuit will have JW hitmen to snuff out apostates. If you get a visit from 2 elders and they start quoting Ezekiel 25:17, then kiss your ass goodbye. LOL
has anybody else noticed the huge 180 degree under the public jw.org vs the material in the study articles?
other than jw.org showing that shunning of family and those who left the religion does not happen, yet in the kingdomhall and wt is does happen.
look at jwborgs stance on quitting school and getting higher education.... http://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/family/teenagers/ask/quit-school/ can anybody show one wt that says what is in the borg website?
Bait & switch for sure or theocratic warfare to be more precise. It's a cult.
