Do You Regard President Obama In The Same Way As You Did BEFORE The Election?

Lately, even late night comedians are starting to make fun of the President.

I hear more negatives about the President than ever before---even from his own voters.

(I had high hopes for him when he beat McCain but since then, I believe the President has been a huge disappointment).

Why are you disappointed in him ie - what promises were you hoping he would keep or changes he would make that he didn't? From your own perspective?

I thought he might be a healer instead of divisive. How's that?

I did not expect much, and he's delivered it.

To be fair, Americans have unrealistic ideas of what the government can do generally, and the Presidency in particular. But he did not have a lot of record to stand on, and he does not seem comfortable with the political horsetrading (or horse beating) it takes to get stuff done in Washington.

Yes, he has not surprised me at all.

A disaster. It will take years for the country to recover. Domestically, economically and in foriegn relations, especially the Islamic threat.

    Corruption and incompetence.

If I could have voted for him I would have. (wasn't registered yet.) The LAST thing I wanted to do was vote for a fundy Mormon!!! However, I wouldn't now. The banking crisis has been the biggest blunder inMO. Billions of bailout money for THEM yet, not one penny to help the people caught in the housing bust and forced into forclosure. If he would have given the money to the homeowners with bad loans DIRECTLY, they never would have lost their homes and property values never would have tanked. When property values sank new home building came to a screeching halt which by domino effect left millions of tradesman out of work etc. Literally overnight the banks withdrew peoples home and business lines of credit. They were left with no way to finish remodeling and building projects. With ruined credit there was no way to purchase goods and services that provide jobs. No jobs? Forced for the first time into public assistance. And round and round it goes till there is a real depression .(which is still present in my community. Obama was either complicit or outsmarted by the banks. Either way it's been a disaster.
