Now hopefully your quit is definitely - and try to not compensate the nicotin with sweets....
(that would probably cost you more then you are saving right now)
i'm on day three of my freedom from the smoking trap!
i've already saved $22.30.
i also know that i will never touch any tobacco product again.. for those who want to know how i did it, jehovah didn't have anything to do with it.

wow, what an amazing group of beautiful loving friends.
i can't begin to tell, all of you, how much your prayers, vibes, reiki, and so many beautiful cards.
branda you have brought me so many smiles with all the kitten pictures it lifted my sprits during some rather dismal days.
Hi Terry, good to "see" you back.
Great - hardly can't wait till he is here too.
yep, as i'm tapping away here i started to hear the gentle roar on the patio roof - it was a shower!
and the water's free!.
looking out the window i marvel at the richness of the green - the green leaves on the trees and bushes in the backyard, the green of the grass - and it's various shades too!
thanks luna

Ozzie, I think you can imagin it ain't my favorite weather.
But when you like some rain, by all means visit the Netherlands again - it's for a reason we are calling our country "kikkerlandje". (frog-country)
For now, enjoy your rain - I guess it is welcome after all the heath of the summer....
regards
Branda
i had a phone call today from an old friend and, to be honest, it was one i had been dreading.
the lady in question used to be my pioneer partner, we got baptised on the same day, march 26th 1983, and started pioneering at the same time, and have been friends for well over 20 years.. a few years ago yvonne and her husband steve left derby and moved to south wales, but we have kept in touch, and i have visited them on several occasions, but haven't told them that i am no longer a jw, so when i got the call today i thought she was ringing me about our baptism anniversary, which would have been this sunday.
she had tried ringing my old number, which i am no longer on, and decided to try my mobile.
that is one of those things that made live worth of.
this morning at about 7:45 am in fort worth texas the landmark tower was demolished using controlled explosions... and i got to watch and feel it!

that was very impressive!
reading the topic, I first thought of a new terroristic attack - glad it was'nt .
oftentimes the remark is made here on jwd that people have 'joined' a caring community, even more caring than the so-called "loving association of brothers" that they have known in the past.. so over the past week name a thread that has shown genuine concern?
here's mine: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/109992/1.ashx.
let us all share.. so, enjoy!.
mine too......
Thanks for mentioning this thread.
this is my first time in this forum!
i joined because i would like to understand the witness way of life w/o joining!!
all debates welcome!!
^ but not for long I think..
welcome Poodles and may that heart be fixed soon.....
