I Quit Smoking!

i'm on day three of my freedom from the smoking trap!

i've already saved $22.30.

i also know that i will never touch any tobacco product again.. for those who want to know how i did it, jehovah didn't have anything to do with it.

Now hopefully your quit is definitely - and try to not compensate the nicotin with sweets....

wow, what an amazing group of beautiful loving friends.

i can't begin to tell, all of you, how much your prayers, vibes, reiki, and so many beautiful cards.

My favorite weather...what's yours? (Ozzie's gone fluffy!)

yep, as i'm tapping away here i started to hear the gentle roar on the patio roof - it was a shower!

and the water's free!.

looking out the window i marvel at the richness of the green - the green leaves on the trees and bushes in the backyard, the green of the grass - and it's various shades too!

My favorite weather...what's yours? (Ozzie's gone fluffy!)

Ozzie, not exactly a blizzard: We had one night of snowing - the day following was misty and the next day all sunny over white fields - beautifull.

Ozzie, I think you can imagin it ain't my favorite weather.

But when you like some rain, by all means visit the Netherlands again - it's for a reason we are calling our country "kikkerlandje". (frog-country)

For now, enjoy your rain - I guess it is welcome after all the heath of the summer....

Had a nice surprise today

i had a phone call today from an old friend and, to be honest, it was one i had been dreading.

the lady in question used to be my pioneer partner, we got baptised on the same day, march 26th 1983, and started pioneering at the same time, and have been friends for well over 20 years.. a few years ago yvonne and her husband steve left derby and moved to south wales, but we have kept in touch, and i have visited them on several occasions, but haven't told them that i am no longer a jw, so when i got the call today i thought she was ringing me about our baptism anniversary, which would have been this sunday.

she had tried ringing my old number, which i am no longer on, and decided to try my mobile.

this morning at about 7:45 am in fort worth texas the landmark tower was demolished using controlled explosions... and i got to watch and feel it!
