They chose the lie, some of them like it in there even though they know its wrong and knowing this they will turn on you anyway just to keep favor with the others . Leave them alone if they are ready to face the truth and they ask you fine but don't fool yourself its just the call of the cult.

Does this happen to you often?
by Dawn inlately it seems i run into jw's almost daily - in the store, at the bank, at school, at the healthclub.
i have even run into them out in service while they're at the house next door to where i'm dropping off my kids for daycare, or going to visit a friend, etc.
i have been out so long now that most of them don't know i'm an x-jw, but i recognize them by the books in their hands or they have a songbook in the window of their car.. of course, i have always run into them occassionally - but over the past several months it has been an almost daily basis.

By the way, it was my birthday yesterday.... April 8th, 1969
by anti-absolutist init's weird that, 11 years after getting df'd,and 8 years after vowing to never go back, i still kind of felt guilty toasting my birthday with my friends.
i am a hell of a lot closer, though, to feeling no shame at all, and a lot of you are to be credited with my freedom......... .

Would You Prefer To Respond To a Question Or A Book Report?

here, he spends countless hours in writing an essay on a subject that we probably never would have known about, had he not written an expose' on it, and yet he may not get that many responses for all his hard work and research.
on the other hand, i and others might ask a very simple question and recieve a huge amount of responses.

An elder left a paper at my door
by JH insince the last 6 weeks, the elders are trying to get a hold of me, but i specialize in being invisible.
so now they left a little paper at my door asking that i call elder x so that he can talk to me.
do you think i should keep on avoiding them since they are about to end their 3 month call on inactive ones?
