  Could you? Would you?

  can you see yourself remarrying (or getting into another long-term defacto relationship) if your partner died?

  i'm not talking about the usual situation where people get divorced, but if your partner died, and you suddenly found yourself single again?.

  could you handle it emotionally?

  Though I am not married yet I think if my honie of 4 years now passed on I would never find anyone to replace him. But feelings change and hope lives on. As much as most of us say we would not find anyone new I think many if not most of us would. That is just life we need to go on.

  Of course you have to look at your circumstances. If you have children, how old they are I think should determine if you remarry or not. I think it's wise to wait untill they are older if they are young teenagers or preteens.

  I hope we never find ourselves in this situation and if you have already you have my best wishes.

  Which are you? Emotional or Intellectual?

  after observing the two sides arguing about the war with iraq, i have come to see 2 kinds of groups, not just the argument from conservatives and liberals, but from those who think with either from their intellectual or emotional standpoints...... from the emotional standpoints who oppose the war, which i would call the "oprah thinkers", these are the group of people who think with their emotional part of the brain rather than the intellectual part of the brain.

  the oprah thinkers likes to cry alot and dab their eyes with a hankerchef.

  they get outraged when a human being regardless of their background (good or evil) gets killed for whatever reason it may be.. then there are those who support the war, which i would call the "spock thinkers", who think from the intellectual part of the brain rather than from the emotional part of the brain.

  I dated a "worldy boy" secretly of course when I was 17. I adored him so much. He actually started studying with the JW's just to keep me. What a Sweetheart!!!

  I never pushed him or even asked him once to study. But I did let him know (many times) that I felt what him and I were doing was wrong and I should break up with him. But he figured what could be so bad about going to church if it means keeping the girl I love. Oh to be young naive and in lust!!!

  He was so scared when they told him he should become an un-baptized publisher. But he did it anyways. He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t attend the same hall as me and why after all his changes I still wanted to keep our relationship a secret. I was always so afraid of what people would think of me. I made him go to the Spanish Congregation because I didn’t know too many people there. LOL Well I finally broke it off with him when I was 18 and regretted it for a long time afterward. Fortunately for him that was the end of his JW life.

  i just bought a red layered dress.

  i don't know how to explain it completely, but it is a red chiffon and a copy of a very famous german styler.

  I say wear the dress it sounds beautiful. If anybody has anything bad to say that is their problem. They as "true christians" should just be glad you are there.

  This Wednesday the 4/9 Is the Memorial? I am surprised nobody in my family has invited me.

  I guess I'll be getting home around midnight all week. Then when they ask me why didn't I go I could say I didn't know it was this week.

  Undecided thanks for the laugh.

  Maybe God got so bewildered trying to figure out how he can into existance that he blew himself up and that was the big bang that caused all this stuff to be here.

  Whenever I ponder all the beauty in the world I think there must be a Creator. If he created the earth through evolution or direct creation I don’t think we really will ever really know.

  I am starting to look into information about reincarnation, which seems to comfort me to some degree. Heaven and a paradise earth never offered much comfort. I just never really bought into those ideas.

  I like Shania's music it's fun to work out to. I don't think I would see her in concert. Maybe if the tickets were free or if they were $20 or less.

  She does seem like a very sweet person.

  Talent Wise: Not much there. Her songs are overly simplistic.

  Country Music Performers I recommend you see (if you like country) are:

  Martina McBride & Trisha Yearwood - Love them! They are excellent singers with a lot of depth in their music.

  thank god corey is gone (although he was booted, not voted off).. anyone watch today?

  kimberley locke was simply amazing...reuben as well.... clay was great but played it safe...too bad joshua didn't...he was the worst singer tonight....it was painful to watch...disco is not his genre of singing.... i also liked carmen.. of the judges, i love simon's honesty.. reuben looks like a shoe-in for american idol finalist...i wish his competition was either kimgerly locke or clay

  Mulan, I agree with that 100% ! Simon has not said one mean remark about Carmen. She isn't that good. Yes she is cute and she can carry a tune but her talent is just not up to the high standards some of the other contestants set. He is either too proud to admit he made a bad choice for the wildcard or he likes her because she is cute. Who knows about that one.

  I think Carmen needs more vocal coaching.

  I don't like Kim C either. She is not that good. Her performance is fine but her vocal skills are average. She doesn't have much range. Or if she does she doesn't show it or even hint at it.

  I want Kim C, Carmen and Josh to go and then probably Ricky. After that we'll see some real competition.

  I like Ricky and will be sad to see him go but I just don't think he is good enough to beat Clay, Ruben Trenyce or Kim L.

  I'm glad to hear you had a good time in Vegas. I had an ok time. It was nice and relaxing.

  My boyfriend's friend got so drunk at the Aladin Hotel they had to wheel him out in a wheel chair. That was pretty funny!
