I usually take/attend with my MIL who is 92 and my wife 71. Can't wait to tell them "BEST CONVENTION EVER! Jehovah knew what we needed and he lovingly provided us No convention!"

Lot was very likely a very primitive man with a low understanding of ethics and formulated laws. His justification before God did not involve keeping of laws from all we know yet not given to man,You might have a point EXCEPT god had just told Lot to flee the morally depraved cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.
