by JohnTron72 ini'm going to be the first and throw this out there for others but, from careful study of the scriptures i've found a loophole that even adam who was perfect at the time missed!
i'm sure everyone has heard the conundrum about ,"can god create a rock he can't lift?
" and if he can't create one he can't lift, then god cannot do everything" well that doesn't really matter since we know jehovah says himself he cannot lie right?

There seems to be a near unanimous unwillingness among the faithful to say anything about what they are seeing happening right in front of their eyes. It's a very apparent downsizing of the organization. Shhhhhh if we don't say it out-loud or admit it, it may not be true! This organization no longer has a viable product to sell (magazines, books, bibles) any longer in this digital age. So they are running out of money! The burn rate on their funds will soon catch up and it will be a matter of going to a tithe per person. IMHO!

by road to nowhere ini notice the friends are in an anne frank attic instead of a boarded up basement this time.. the giving to ones in need pic shows literature and bible, but no food or money.

The middle east is consistently the most radical war torn area on earth and has been since the beginning of history. It is astounding how much governments are willing to pay for oil!
The Iranians and Iraqis are born into a radical society with no choice of how to believe just like many of us jw's were born in's. We don't have to agree with their way of life or beliefs but at least we understand why they are like they are. Willing to give up their life for some invisible shy daddy.

Lately the gb has been showing jw's how and where to hide during the 'great tribulation'. The attic, the bunker, or running through the forest to avoid the storm troopers.
What happened the the bible admonition to 'raise yourselves erect and to lift up your heads because your deliverance is getting near'?
Me thinks that deliverance is not getting near!

When I was a PIMO elder for several years before my successful fade, I had to self medicate BEFORE meetings! Truth. I would take a few shots of vodka and then put another shot in my water bottle that I took to the meeting just to keep the glow going! No liquor breath with vodka and I'm certain that no one ever suspected that I was feeling good. It made the situation tolerable until it didn't!

How can a building dedicated to God, be sold?

every single kingdom hall and bethel branch that has been sold was "dedicated to jehovah" by the watchtower corporation.
a special meeting with a guest speaker gives a talk and then offers a prayer dedicating the building to yhwh.

Don Adams has passed away
by RubaDub ini received a call from a friend in new york city that don adams passed away late last evening (30 dec 2019).
many of you bethelites know him and he was the president of the society for a number of years after the gb got out of the corporate structure business.
from what i understand, he was generally liked by many there.. some in my family knew him.

I believe that there were 3 Adams brothers (fleshly brothers) that were big wigs at the wt headquarters in NY. All were lifers for the wt. Like many of us, they probably just accepted their mom's religion and got swallowed up in wt land.
Wonder if Don was thinking in his final days "WTF how long do I have to live before Armageddon?"
