Talking about qualifying for certain privileges based on your field service can be very open to interpretation. I remember when they were building the assembly Hall in the local area. When i first applied it was rejected and I was told the reason was me been a 1-2 hour publisher. Then a couple months down the track when they were in urgent need of labour and the work wasn't getting done, field service wasn't the main qualifying factor.

How many lawsuits can the WTBTS absorb?
by Coded Logic init seems like the society has been desperately seeking ways to cut costs and boost reviniew (jw.org, kingdom hall programs, etc) over the past four or five years.

Yes I would have to agree if each of those 20 new cases of Zaklin got the same settlements of $13.5 mill. It would be $270 mill. Certainly enough to loose sleep over.

One Day assembly in Arizona- $17,000 !!
by AndDontCallMeShirley ini heard from a reliable source that a one-day assembly in arizona last weekend had a "cost" to the publishers of $17,000.. predictably, the elders were nice enough to obligate the attendees to a $6,000 donation to wt before the assembly "costs" (i.e.
"rent/extortion) were even met.
$11,000 rent plus $6000 in extra "donations".

We all realize that if they lose on appeal about fronting up with documentation and credible witnesses (no pun intended) then this is going to make Zaklins job a whole lot easier. They will just keep making a request with the courts to see their policies and procedures in which wt acts the dumb ass effectively banning them from the hearing. They get steamed rolled and keep getting 13.5 million dollar bills. Simple.
Eventually the GB will be forced to take the stand. When they do party at my house and we will watch it on the big screen.
