chasing me for a report

i'm fairly new on here and i've told a lot of my story but to recap, after 60 odd years i've stopped going to the meetings.

my husband had already left the truth years ago and my children didn't become jws.(phew!).

i had a horrendous childhood growing up as a witness which included sexual assault by a close relative, also a jw.

Wow - so many things you could say!

Maybe something like "When the Witnesses start behaving like Jesus, I'll give you my time for the month."

Another reply that comes to mind is "Put me down for 60 hours. I've done a lot of "witnessing" online!" Keep telling them to put you down for 60 hours. They will eventually stop asking.

My personal experience was that I stopped field service and stopped turning in my time. I would get calls, texts, emails. I would delay the replies more and more until I finally ignored them.

so the elder (who was my teacher) has informed the rest of the congregation and has now revolked my enterance into their or any hall.

and so now they are looking into getting a restraining order and have called new york and that's what they have decided to do.

just because i was made to feel so depressed and hated that i was thinking of suicide.

Sorry to hear. But I thought Jesus offered the depressed souls to "Come to me."

i'm at home and hear knock on door , i sneak and look i see two men and recognise one voice and go back into lonunge and ask wife ( who is inactive believer) does she want to speak to elders ,she says no ,then literally 3 minutes has pasted another knock the 3 minutes seemed like an eternity.

so brave heart me think fuck it i'll answer ,i invite them in for coffee, i recognise one older man he is a unique elder who i genuinely was fond of when i was in his name is andrew ,the other guy i didn't recognise we will call harry ( not real name australia doesn't have that many cos with his same name).

so i think to myself i will tread lightly and not cause to much of a fuss for the wife's sake, but my personality is very the opposite of treading lightly ,as you read my threads you will realise i'm not timid.

That was truly beautiful. I was anticipating at the end that the CO would extend an offer to attend his special talk that Sunday! But maybe he was really listening? I'm surprised he let you go on more than just a few minutes.

Secrecy?

were any of you shocked by the secrecy in the org?

i remember hearing that elders have to turn in their "flock" books if they resign, get deleted, etc, i didn't even know they had their own books and i was an ms. is the bible not enough?

i remember i asked one of the elders if i could see my publisher record, they refused to show me!

I remember once being shown my service report for the previous service year. I don't think that was my publisher record card, though. It wasn't until after I averaged OVER 10 hours a month that I was considered for MS and appointed.

And they made sure to send a letter to the congregation (secretary, I think) that either recommended your reappointment or not.

Speaking of secrecy, I wasn't allowed to see that letter. Whatever it was, I was never reappointed. That whole process was part of my "waking up".

Elder Arrest Scaremongering

last week there was a meeting with all the elders and ministerial servants about responsibility in the kingdom hall and blah blah blah.. one elder brought up a scenario where all the elders were arrested, and we were asked if the meeting would still go on, and how.. this is the second time within a month that i've heard that scenario posed by an elder in my congregation.. does anyone have any idea of the trash being fed to them in letters recently?.

is this a scenario that hq is putting out there, or are the fear mongering convention videos driving their imaginations wild?.

it appears there is about a million voting age jws in the us right now.

it appears there is 8 million ex jws or in the shadows.. if those 8 million would have the guts to come out for a presidential candidate to come out, we can finally end the slavery, tyranny and corruption in this and many other circles.. cowards die many times but a hero only dies once.

and cowards die in revelation.. so, to you reading this, are you a coward or a true steward of the earth and creation?.
